Statistiken ansehen:
A very toxic game.
A very aggressive and toxic community, the developers are doing crazy things with patches and then fixing everything, the game has become a little crooked with incomprehensible damage. If you play well on tanks in TANK REALISTIC BATTLE, then you are killed by an offended player who plays badly either on a fighter or a helicopter. After the game, one negative and sediment remains, as if you came to a second job.

Games have ceased to bring pleasure, and developers have begun to choke, is this normal?

This game has undeservedly received positive ratings on Steam, it does not deserve even 60%.

Ingame isn't that toxic but reddit and the forums (quite unsurprising tbh...) are toxic septic tanks. Almost everyone ingame tends to be quiet so in comparison to other games like league of legends it's barely toxic at all.

I don't think the devs are toxic, they're just incompetent for the most part.

I am approaching 600 hours.

I found fairly early on, and my cringy rant thread is buried in here somewhere - there are combinations of vehicles and game modes I enjoy, and those I do not. And this changes periodically.

You have in this game 3 main game modes, several secondary modes, Air/Ground/Navy, and 100's of vehicles easily accessible for free in the lower BR's.

I notice that the people who are totally burned out and not having fun seem incapable of trying another game mode. Well no wonder it gets toxic for you. You have what, a few hours max to enjoy a video game today? And you're choosing to spend that limited time on something you don't enjoy? Isn't that being "toxic" to yourself?

Like for instance, how is a plane going to hunt you down so easily in Ground Sim Battles? Have you even tried that mode? It's just a suggestion, I'm an Airhead myself. I love going back and forth between Arcade and Sim. I find RB the worst of both worlds.

I hope you find fun in the game again, there's no point in playing it otherwise!

Kinda how the real world is. You can have a bad ass tank force thats trained for years wiped out by conscripts with ATGM's in seconds.

I've seen few trolls in game... very few... I myself usually tell an enemy on ALL chat that they had a great shot that killed me, or maybe they killed me 4 times in a row...or maybe they did an amazing bomb run in front of me that was really cool. I just lol about it and think they are a good player and this is an amazing game.
I did rage a little when first starting Sim and I would get team killed... but after a few hundred Sim games I found that its just part of the mode... it happens. When I see someone else raging about it, I check their player card, and low and behold they are around less than a 100 sim games.... I find "that" just the learning curve of Sim.

And if you had reliable and readily avaiable teammates you'd fly dcs, would you not.
At least that's my excuse.

Wow how could this happen. A company that builds their entire business model on frustrating customers into spending money. The customers then take it out on each other because the ultra soft cry babies at Gaijin will ban you for even the slightest personal criticism. The developers do next to nothing to make the game actually better.

Welcome to gacha. Enjoy your stay.

People in game are quiet because 2/3s of the community are either on a chat ban or permanently chat banned for saying "mean" things. My most recent chat ban is because some guy sent me some hate mail with some mean things in it, so I said mean things back, and I guess he reported me and I got a 30d again lmao. Only time i've said anything since my LAST 30 day. Whoever you are, congratulations. Anyway, point being saying the F-word a few too many times is enough to get you banned. Why the hell would anyone want to chat.

All i have to say to this is have some f***ing class

having previously worked a senior support role in an office of less than 200 people in a particularly bad period i saw three colleagues commit suicide in the space of 6 months.

So get rid of that self righteousness, its people like you that think they are payed to take your s*** that make things so bad for people with no say on policy who are just trying to pay the bills

the measure of a man is not how they treat their social superiors or peers but in how they treat those they perceive as their inferior. Needless to say you do not measure up

Edit: by all means abuse the s*** out of each other, if everyone is participating by their own choice and giving as good as they get i actually enjoy these kinds of environments, but do not inflict that s*** on others who are not participating voluntarily and cannot return the favour

I've had some suprisingly wholesome conversations in chat just about the general grind and how everyone's doing, and others with people asking questions about vehicles and actually getting answers.

Then there's also the other side of that coin which happens much more than I want. Mostly people whining about taking each other's bases; they should add more bases to Air RB, because they aren't winning games, their just there for the free RP.
I have made many friends in WT. Many from battles where they were on the other team. There have been close battles where a player on the other team made the difference in their winning and I have sent them a message "well done you won that battle" Other times they have been on the other team in previous battle but now on mine in this battle I have said "glad you are on my side now" Various on the theme. At least half my friends I met in battle on the other side. I love a good fight. I will recognize worthy opponents same as team mates that performed well.
I don't play war thunder to get to a top of a tree. I play for the battles. I have never used profanity in a chat or even in a post on these forums. I don't believe in personal attacks although I can see where some of my comments could be misinterpreted that way if you squint hard enough. So in future if you think that think again. I don't need or want points by hurting someones feelings.
I think there exists a vast difference in why people play or perceive the game. I don't play to get to top tier. I look at what the game War Thunder presents as challenges by what it requires to get the top awards in each nation. 20000 kills 10000 missions 5000 wins in top 3. This tells me there is no fast easy means of accomplishing these challenges. After nearly 3 years of playing I am no where near these goals. They are what I aim at not BR 11.0 or tier 7. I never refuse a request to join a squad. I offer my aid when I read a person needs help.
I have sent monetary aid to people, Bought gift packages. Because I can.
The person you fight today is your team mate tomorrow.
Gaijin is solely to blame for the fact that the community is so toxic. The vehicles and the maps are unrealistic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Helicopters destroy the fun of the ground vehicles and lead to aggression. Unbalanced maps and visibility, such as magical Russian ammunition, destroy the overall look of this game and do their best to make this community worse and worse. I have now uninstalled this game again. I just don't want to have anything to do with this ♥♥♥♥ anymore.
By looking at some comments in this thread, I see that you really pissed off some of those "offended player who plays badly either on a fighter or a helicopter".

I agree with you though, I have played one game today and it was exactly like you don't want it to be.

I was doing decent, I was 2nd or 3rd at the end, but my team was garbage as always, I saw like 5 or 6 tanks rushing our spawns, I spawned with a tank, killed one and damaged like 2 others because my reload was like 10s so I couldn't do more, my teammates finished those guys off and then it started...

I spawned again, killed some of those hyped players who were rushing everything because they thought they already won, but it actually turned and we were winning at the moment, literally like 1min later, I was camping at our spawn waiting for some guys who were still on the move and there were like 2 or 3 enemy helis and one G.91 with rockets. Those helis were also those German ones which can shoot rockets at like 3-4km so they are pretty much unreachable because all they have to do is press left or right to dodge everything coming at them.

We lost because there were 2 of these helis camping our spawn the whole time and even Strela or that Chinese Gepard had no chance against it.

I was pretty mad after the game because those enemy players had no talent at all, they had no chance on ground and they won only because they were playing OP helicopter. In my opinion players like this don't deserve the win at all.

I know irl there were battles with every possible type of vehicle in use, but it's a game which is supposed to be enjoyable and if you spawn and 10 secs and 50 meters later you will get killed by a heli you can't kill because they can either dodge everything or you don't have AA at the moment, is just stupid.

What are people talking about here. I created threads on the forum describing the problems of the game for 2022 and that causes a huge negative, I was given an eternal ban on the forum, so be it. Am I upset? No, the developers have shown that they do not care about the players and they see the game in their own way.

They love to block all those who hate them.
Gaijin doesn't force, or cause, anyone to be toxic. A player always has a choice in their own behavior; and it's the player who is ultimately responsible for their own actions.

TLDR: Players CHOOSE to be toxic.

As for blocking, this is Steam's forum. We're all here at their pleasure. Their "house", their rules. Bet you keep certain people out of your "house" too.

(My definition of "toxic" is very different than OP's. Of course players will kill, and revenge kills a Red player given the chance - that IS the game.)

Damn do you make up stories to try to win one over on people all the time or just when it's convenient?

If you want some self-righteous feeling of "helping the community" become a mod where you can give your life some meager sense of pitiful meaning. I find the potty-mouth-police the most pathetic type of person undeserving of anything but spite. This type of person is the same person who likely verbally abusers cashiers at the grocery store and feels the need to call the HOA on their neighbors. Pathetic in a way that doesn't deserve pity and a net-negative contributor to their community despite their "nice" ways of living. I'll take a jerk over a nice person almost any day of the week. Mostly because the jerk is probably useful and correct more often than not even if my delicate fee-fees are hurt :(.

I feel like you just had a bad day at work being a "senior support specialist" or whatever you call yourself and you felt like you needed to complain. It's legitimately not my problem you have such a bad job/life. I enjoy (often aggressive) banter in video games. People have said extremely mean things to mean and I just laugh and flame them back. That's the difference between you and me. I'm not made out of porcelain and you are. Maybe don't take a role where you are going to be the front line and blamed for everything if you don't want to be the front line and blamed for everything. Like, dude, quit your job LMAO.

read what i said, i dont give a s*** what the community does to each other, i actually enjoy it and play games which make this community look like pansies (look up some of the history of EVE online sometime). Its when you take out your s*** on people just trying to do their jobs that you cross the line

if you are so interested in my personal life no that was not made up, it is long in the past but i worked in that role for 3 and a half years with a fortune 500 company that will go unnamed where it was my job to take the call when we got a Karen screaming they wanted to speak to the manager, someone threatening to sue, or someone reporting a fire or injury where our products might have been responsible. It got so bad the entire office closed up about 6 months after i left and all the jobs are now outsourced to the Philippines and jesus do i feel sorry for them.

Whether or not gaijin support is quite as bad i have no idea but i have no respect for anyone that takes out their frustrations towards a company on the poor underpayed workers who cant fight back. What might seem like a 'harmless' bit of venting to you, for the person on the receiving end that might be the 20th time they have been abused already today and 5 minutes later they are still expected to remain professional with the next a**hole while enforcing policy they have no say over

tldr; by all means go hard with the community who choose to participate but show some class and be nice to the waiter
