Bring in the XF-84H Thunderscreech
Do you not like having intact eardrums?
Do you like propeller blades moving faster than the speed of sound?
Do you love both single-prop planes and jets?

If any of these apply to you, may I present: the XF-84 Thunderscreech. With this glory of horrifying engineering, you won't need the sirens off a Ju 87 to strike fear into the hearts of anyone who dares to claim German bias. In fact, all other noises have now become moot. The Thunderscreech is all you will hear, across the sky, at every moment in time.

The highlights:
  • This plane really is the package deal, you get dual turbines, a supersonic propeller, and an afterburner providing up to 7,230 hp!

  • Horrible maneuverability
    - This plane is an F-84F which had its guts ripped out and replaced with an XT40-A-1 turboprop and afterburner. The F-84F already had somewhat lackluster turning, energy retention, and acceleration. The refit takes care of acceleration in a ridiculous way, but obliterates any semblance of handling beyond ~500 mph. Though it should be able to max out around 670 mph.

  • The noise
    - Prop-based and jets are already incredibly noisy, even more so when someone decides to break the sound barrier. The absolutely devious engineers behind the XF-84H decided it should do that, constantly, at idle, with just its props.
    - It is truly a shame how poor the documentation of this thing is because based on the descriptions, the sonic booms coming off of it are legendary. Knocking people over, causing nausea, headaches, and allegedly a seizure. The ATC couldn't even properly communicate with these planes from all the excess vibration that had a range of around 25 miles, they had to use light signals.

  • The warm-up
    - You think that just because you feel the need to shatter every teammate and opponents' eardrums you get to do it now? God no. Even though the XF-84 was designed to be a carrier-based aircraft launching under its own power, it took about 30 minutes to warm up.

  • You don't need to buy a blender ever again
    - Three 12-foot diameter squared-off propeller blades at constant speed from the moment the engine is hot. Those blade tips are moving around Mach 1.18, or nearly 900 mph. Some genius decided not to slow these things down for less thrust, but rather to just change their pitch. The Magic Bullet will forever be dethroned when someone becomes a smoothie by stepping in front of this aircraft.

  • It is obscene
    - The XF-84 was a prototype aircraft first flown in 1955. Documentation about it is somewhat spotty, many references I looked for just don't exist. But every single account of the aircraft describes it as a monstrosity of noise, mechanical failures, and fear.
If implemented, the XF-84 will probably not be a very competitive plane, but it would be a joy to mess around in. The absurd amount of noise drowning out every other aircraft in the sky, the incredible acceleration, and the complete lack of ability to fly in a straight line. What's not to love?

When you think about it the THUNDERSCREECH would be perfect for an event or battle pass
Its one of those planes that just would be odd in a tree but for an event would fit real well

Neat plane. One problem. It wasnt armed. It was a test aircraft for an engine/prop combination. Any armed version would be pure fiction.
