How to Manoeuvre in a Harrier

What to do when someone actually gets on your tail? The only thing this seems to be good at is rolling.

get really really low, keep on rolling and hope it's someone without a mouse

I might as well just bail out then. At least that does not cost me any money.

use the vtol thrust, if you can get them down to low speeds or make them over shoot you can basically turn into a heli copter and shoot them down. also doing 30-50% nozzel will increase your turn rate and help you get your guns onto target quicker.
but it requires some skill. messing around with it in test flight helped me practice to become good with it.

I'd like to add once any plane that's a good fighter is behind you, you're pretty much screwed unless he's going fast enough to force a overshoot. the harrier outturns very few planes without it's vector nozzles

Been trying that but it has not worked, the enemy is always going slower than me and they never overshoot. So whenever anyone gets on me I am just dead, at least it is confirmed now so thanks.

Only ever do the VTOL trick if there's only one enemy on your tail, otherwise you're making yourself a sitting duck for the second enemy.

So far it only has been one, it usually happens when most people are dead. Cheers regardless though.
