How to avoid missiles?

I'm currently playing BR 9.0 jets and it's super frustrating...

I can't even reach an enemy base in RB with my jet, because I always get hit by missiles I can't even see the source of.

How can I avoid this?

Once you reach BR 9.0 it gets unbelievably frustrating and stupid...

Gaijin basically expects you to buy the premium top tier jet of your nation to continue grinding past 7.0-8.7 BR because of how extremely compressed everything is after that.
If you have no options for countermeasures or your own missiles it’s not a jet worth playing.

get a jet with countermeasures. i wish i was joking but no gaijin geniously made it so jets with no missiles or countermeasures more often than not fight jets with missiles and or countermeasures which makes you easy prey.

Give up on your plane, trust me you dont want to but its what best for you. France has a hard time with jets till you get the Jag A or the mirage IIIE even then they suck till you get flares and matra magics

ya im having the same problem with my mig-19/f-100. i go one way then try to roll out but somehow is swing around and hit me. pretty sure the missiles are aim9-g/l or r-60

The Vautour can just about dodge AIM-9Bs, anything more advanced than that you're screwed. You can't do anything. Just dive to the deck at the start of the game and hope people ignore you. The ~9.0 bracket is absolute hell for premium aircraft with AIM-9Ls, AIM-9Gs and R-60s at the moment, the only hope is BR decompression.

Avoid populated areas of the map, keep the altitude you spawn with, depending on what's launched at you you can outmanoeuvre the missile but chances are you aren't going to survive a fighter attacking you, same as any bomber in War thunder

Think that's bad, come play top tier jets and you'll get shot from across the map by a F-14 that didn't even show up for you. IR's are easier with flares, but anything else is nearly impossible to dodge. Just like others have said, you have to buy premiums in order to get to top tier jets when you reach about ~7.0ish as missiles are a big problem when you don't have flares. If you are doing air RB, I'd say wait until everyone has left the field and start to fly at low altitudes. That way, the majority of the fighting is happening amongst the potatoes and you'll be flying at low altitudes and not into combat but around to get the bombs kills. Really, you should be getting bomb kills over player kills until you have flares. Which for the Japanese isn't until 11.7 and I'm not sure on brits.

Pull as hard as you can in one direction, otherwise skirt around the map to avoid mostly everyone

.. wth wont they fix this for, dont they want people to have a reason to buy premium acc on the early ranks to have a balanced 8.0+ to play later ?

When its like this im for sure not recommending players to buy premium acc, better stay 1.0-6.0 and just not care for orem acc til they sort it out.

Decompress the jet ranks.
