thanks Fox. :)
my ping goes around 200 230.
It only sometimes happen not all the time.
Things to do is to get closer to the box if you can, the shorter the distance from it and you computer the smaller is the ping and PL as the radio wave doesn't have to go through walls n ♥♥♥♥
On Us servers i get about 220-250 and can easily top leaderboards in air. No real loss in gameplay as far as im concerned.
EU is about 400 ping and this is where i notice a big difference. Cant dodge reliably out of fire and end up getting shot etc, as i should with this ping.
Packet loss though, 1-2% you dont notice a problem, but as it gets higher it feels like you are flying in turbulence, losing 10-20m height in instant bursts, plane changing angle of direction etc, if it last long enough every plane with hit the deck.
As for wifi, you should be able to run some network cable from your PC to the router atleast for gaming, even if you have to have a cord running through a hallway etc, it is well worth it, cable is cheap. Not alway sthe option to drill holes everywhere to hide it away.
Never had a PC thats had wifi capability myself, always wired in. Work latops a different story.
Also, check any programs that may download, auto updates for programs etc. Thatll make packet loss skyrocket. not much you can do with multiple PCs in a house though.
Thanks for all the help.
P.S Sorry for being so late, just had some problems also.
No, packet loss applies to all multiplayer games.
Some good information on the subject and remedies can be found here: https://www.annese.com/blog/what-causes-packet-loss Its a somewhat interesting read.
Also locked due to this being a necro.
