Should I use the gaijin login or the steam login?

Not sure which on is better for me. Is there any advantage to use the gaijin login?
As the steam login does not need a additional password its easier for me.

Will the gaijin login be used in other games, too? (I only play War Thunder so far)

My guess is, if you use the Steam login and steam or Gaijan is compremised you have just exposed yourself and info from two locations as the password is the same. If you use seperate logins, potentially better protected if one or the other is compremised.

Consider your steam acount my be linked to a credit card number and personal details.


Bottom line, it is a personal decision, I have not and will not spend any money with Gaijan, so no need for them to have my info.

Use Steam, as it lets you buy with your steam wallet. And the Gaijin wone just means another account.
