Delete Steam account with WT?

I am havign a hard time using the "Steam Login" option for WT. I want to just delete the entire account and create one with Gaijin. How do I do this? I cannot use the "Delete Profile" option because it does not have an email address. I cannot change or verify my email because it makes me select an account, but the account options are all blank. I do not mind losing my progress one bit because I enjoyed playing, but I do want to fix this.

So how can I get in touch with Gaijin to delete my account? I cannot use support because it doesn't show an account name and asks me to login using an email address, which doesn't work!

just create a new account on the warthunder.com website - no need to delete the Steam account

anyway if you want to get in touch with the support you should be able to by using the (login) information you get here - https://support.gaijin.net/hc/en-us/articles/208179375-General-information-on-your-account-registered-via-Steam

or you can create / open a ticket anonymouly (without login in) by using this form - https://support.gaijin.net/hc/en-us/requests/new/

Thanks for the help. I already created a Gaijin account. Dr. Doktor, I mentioned my reasons in my original post. Many things did not work because I could not login and the email was not registered. I could not set it because it would not show my account. In other words, it was broken.

Also, I believe that I have seen you in-game, Doktor. I am Otto Kretschmer.

That was one of the problems. I could not login using the profile ID and my password. Something happened when I first started the game and clicked "Steam Login". I guess it just didn't create properly. No big deal. I now have the name of the number one u-boot ace of WWII and I am almost back to where I was before the Gaijin account. It's all good.
