VK 4501 P? How to get one?
I've seen people driving this beauty around and to my understanding, you can only get it during specific events? And apprentely I just missed one. Is there a timeframe for this or am I gonna have to sit and pray until we get another chance?

well you missed out and there is no way to get it now. You are just going to have to sit and wait for if they do another event.

There are a lot of vehicles that are limited edition. For the VK, it could be a long while before we see another chance, seeing as one just passed by.

Yeah, unfortunatly the VK 4501 P looks attractive from a gameplay perspective, since it's Tier 3 (Which is where I'm at), and the Tiger (P) is premium which unfortunately I can't be spending money on such things right now, as much as I want to. Soon! Hopefully. I love this failure of a tank too much.

only during events, as far as i know there have been 2 of them up to now. i got mine on the 2nd one.

but...beauty? it has 100mm non-sloped front armor on BR 5.7 (and terrible aiming view on RB/SB)
its the same as tigerH if not worse, since tiger H can be angled and has some addition armor on the MG port and driver view, VK doesnt have that modeled...almost everything oneshots it, angled or not.

Porsche looks similar but has 200mm armor and is a whole different story for BR6.0... its way better!

I bought the Piger because of Girls und Panzer, but it's pretty useless outside of arcade because it's SO BLOODY SLOW. It's not worth the price tag imo.

The A26 events were held 3 years after another, so it could be a very long time until the VK is up for grabs again.

The 200mm would mean something, if there werent 80mm plates on either side, that were such large and inviting targets.

I think the VK would be better at ~5.3 and the Tiger 1P at 5.7 (Reasonable), or even further to 5.0/5.3 (Generous).

GuP certainly made the Tiger (P) look good, didn't it? Sometimes anyway.

But oh God, I hope I don't have to wait that long. Knowing I JUST missed the event hurts enough.

I understand it's a very flawed tank, but I tend to play tanks I personally like. I don't pick whatever's best for me. I tend to get killed faster than I can say "Oops" when playing the Hetzer, but I do it anyway because I love the Hetzer. I play this game for the tanks, really.

For those reasons, I'm probably not the best teammate.

Well aside from it getting bogged down and bursting into flames every other second, yeah. Lol. I just had to own one for GuP collection purposes.

I certainly hope not too. I missed out on the events and have been kicking myself ever since. At-least I got the A26 though... only took me 8 hours of solid grinding for it... and I don't even play it...

It did survive a point blank bombardment against two Jagdpanzer IV/48s, 3 Pz.Kpfw. Vs, a Jagdpanzer, and a Tiger II. For a while anyways. Made it looks like it was made to survive a nuke. And the Leopon team even took out some of them. Makes the Tiger (P) look so badass!

Every now and then you can do that in-game against American tanks who don't know where to shoot you.

I swear the Piger is faster in reverse though...

I managed to pull a similar feat like that once, I sidescraped with the Tiger I. I had like 6 tanks who couldn't take me out. Very satisfying.

Also I love tanks with a fast reverse. So that's a bonus. A shame the Hetzer doesn't have such a feature.
