Best BnZ Fighter?
I've read that Germany's Fw series are very good at BnZ fighting, and I've also read that I shouldn't even bother with the Bf series.

Are there any other nations/series I should check out for BnZ?

All of them, actually.

USA is pure energyzoom fighting, Germany is energyzoom fighting, USSR is okay at energyzoom fighting, and Mid/Late Japan is good at energyzoom fighitng.

Which nation/series would you recommend that I should focus on for BnZ fighting?

Go for either all of Germany's fighters or the British tempest/typhoon line .

USA is 100% energyfighting
Germany is 100% energyfighting
USSR is 100% energyfighting
UK is 100% energyfighting
Japan is 100% energyfighting

Specific planes that are good at high speed stuff:

USA is the "GO FASTER" nation so all of them
Germany is the second "GO FASTER" nation so all of their single-engine planes
USSR is fast, but also turny. Their planes also break easier in BnZ maneuvers because they're so maneuverable.
UK starts slow, but the Typhoon and later Spitfires are great at BnZ.
Japan has three kinds of fighters in era 2 and later: Twin engine fighters, Zeroes, and planes that are good at BnZ.
I've got Britain relatively developed, would the Hurricane be any good at BnZ?

After the American M2 fiddies got nerfed I would avoid them. There is no point to do a BNZ if you can't kill in the first pass. US planes are heavy so they climb real slow, but dive real fast.

The majority of German cannon rounds are 50/50 in terms of sparkle/damage. They have sheer power behind the copious amount of guns and cannons on an aircraft and a lot of them allow you to shotgun your rounds. German planes can roll rather easy, can climb rather well, and can dive nicely.

The Soviets are like a Glock. They don't do anything great, but they do everything well enough. You can do any kind of energy fighting with them and adapt to most any roll you need them for that match. However if you try to turn fight a pure turn fighter you will lose. If you try to out dive or climb a pure BNZ plane you will lose. In most cases if you try to head on a plane built for that like the Germans have you will lose. However Soviet planes have great cannons and probably the best energy retention in game.

The British have some of the best planes in this meta. The hipster rounds that they have fire extremely fast, do tremendous damage, and have a wide birth for user error. Some of the late spits have an extremely fast climb rate reaching low orbit in a matter of minutes. On top of that they have an extremely good turn rate with the only downside being it burns energy like crazy. The entire spit line has some of the most user friendly planes in game.

I don't play the Japaneses because Russia is still at war with Japan )))

TL;DR every plane can BNZ. Altitude king and Energy is life.
