Getting very tired of the airfield domination battles.

Getting constantly spammed with this inane game mode centered around blind furballs. How this mode remained is question enough, but the fact that it's easily the most used gametype is ridiculous and I'm quickly getting to the point where I'm going to start quitting out the second it sprouts up as I'd much rather waste my time elsewhere. It's not even about the uselessness of bombers in the mode tied to inability to change aircraft, though that fact alone is gamebreaking as hell. I don't play with bombers much. The idea that you basically have to suicide to capture a point is beyond dumb, not to mention that nobody wants to land in the middle of a combat zone in an arcade mode. But beyond that, I just don't like furballs. Even in arcade mode there's still a lot of thought and consideration to be had in positioning and the like, but here it's minimized.

best mode ever. my record is 14 caps in one game but that was a long time ago. use bombers and land gives you great SL.

like any other mode in AB you can land on the airfield repair and switch planes.

Yup. No joy for me. I bail when it comes up. 3-4 times in a row. And then it gets alittle lean trying to find planes to fly.

Problem is, a lot of players just want to furball. That's why Gaijin introducted the air domination mode for AB so it's just pure furballing and nothing else.

I totally support this, Gaijin should add neutral AA to the airfields, shooting friend and foe!

Problem is, a lot of players just want to furball. That's why Gaijin introducted the air domination mode for AB so it's just pure furballing and nothing else.

Why didn't they just add a deathmatch then? I would honestly enjoy that.

I think it's the one where you have to land on the airfield to cap and hold it. Like domination in GF with the single point. I think it's a low BR AB game mode.

It's AB so you can take off and land in no time. Takes like 2-3 seconds (I think) to cap soy you essentially just land, slow down, then take off again. It's been a long time since I ever played that game mode, but I think thats how it is (mind you my memory is a bit damaged).
