T29 and other heavy mentionned confirmed
Onthos TD "I won't tell any info about", so likely yes or they would have just said "no plans for now" or just "no"
The Shermans are an all around pain for the most part though. Being such a tall target, large hull, and quite terrible armor means you are easily penable and even the longer 75mm and 76mm guns lack a powerful explosive charge, resulting in low velocity (in terms of the barrel length compared to what others can achieve) meaning low penetration power. The other problem is the US AP shells with explosive fillers are quite weak and detonate almost directly after impact, resulting in damage to whoever is directly infront of it, but not so much behind it (for example, pen the front hull of a Tiger I and expect to kill the driver or radio operator, but expect minimal damage to the crew in the turret).
It does get a bit better once you get into the 90mm guns though as penetration is quite good (still not great though). For the most part, American tanks NEED to use cover as they are often quite easy to pen. Cover up the hull, flank when you can, and know what is where in the enemy tanks so you know what to knock out first.
Generally because American tanks when hulled down, are almost near-impossible to challenge from the front.Their turrets are pretty much armored heavily, and the only place where you can hit them are usually the sides as well as from the mantlet.
Which is why US tanks are extremely godlike on Poland and Eastern Europe-this fits their style of hulldown. On more open maps however, they can be killed quite easily possibly due to the fact that they are exposed everywhere on these open maps most of the time.
Ha..tea and crumpets...
