Is German Tier 1 SPAAs too OP?
I am normally a US player.

I then tried German.

All of their Tier 1 SPAAs have 20mm Autocannon.

Gepard and Flakpanzer I rotate very fast.

They also takes like 1 second to reload

They don't have to aim.

I once rack up 11 player kills in 1 game with Gepard Alone.

They also can shoot down planes!

What do you think? M13 GMC and GAZ AA have only .30 and .50 cal and are open top like German's but they can never fight tanks.

Why not get some Opel truck with someone on a mounted machine gun to be their Tier 1 AA and move Gepard and Flakpanzer I to tier 2?

Maybe SDKFZ 251/17 but you need to set up for AA gun.

No, rather they should just increase the reload time because that 1-second reload time was only possible with the full crew of five.

Your basically pointing out how well fast firerate and rotation is important in combat vs tank without armor

PS: if you what a real OP AA look up the ZSU-57-2, its the same just with guns equivalent to a twin 8.8cm pen & damage wise that fire every sec while being of lower profile and having the speed of a light cavalry tank

The german most OP AA would be the Möbelwagen 8.8cm, yet has no crew protection outside the driver

Yes, Panzer IIs should have filled that Role
But then These SPAAs just steal Panzer IIs Role!
SPAA should dedicate to shoot planes and only shoot tanks on last ditch effort.
But these two just became Tier 1 Exterminator.

Because a single 20mm gun isn't going to kill anything that isn't a biplan

Just spray them with your machine gun, simples.
I think everyone on this thread is underestimating the power of it.

It is literally a Panzer II with lighter armour and a much faster fire rate. The gun uses the same APCR ammunition as the Panzer II with 64mm of penetration being able to cripple any tank at its tier and around its BR range. As such the easiest fix is to just make the reload rate slower or add the three missing crewmembers that made the 1-second reload possible.

How would 5 people get up on FlakPanzer I
Like it was design for less than 3 people?

Look up pictures, there were four people sitting on and around the turret.

The T17E2?

... Uh... No.

They can be killed with 7mm machineguns at close range, anything bigger than 12mm heavy machineguns can nail them from a kilometre away or more. If you get a side shot on the gunner you can kill them with 7mm at over a kilometre with relative ease. That doesn't even take into account their weakness to artillery strike due to being almost completely open with the only armour being the gun shield.

Sure they cause you some problems up close, but you shouldn't be letting them get that far.
You are underestimating the power of these.

I'm so Surprised people ignored SPAAs threat. I am going to post a montage about this.

I don't, I target Flakpanzers and Gepards once I see them. They are easily one of the most dangerous units in Tier I if you let them get the upper hand.

This is the match I've just done. after I posted the comment. The first match without any more attempts.
6 kills with Flakpanzer I
4 kills with Gepard
2 last kill with Panzer II C

Why did I died with Flakpanzer and Gepard?
A fighter plane kamikaze.

Unless you can show that you perform way worse in other vehicles, over a long period of time, and it is the same for the majority of a large amount of players, just one match is totally meaningless.

I think too many people, especially new players, expect SPAAs to be "support vehicles" and overlook them. More experienced players exploit this carelessness and oliberate them.
