For germany :

HS 129 B-3, 75mm gun is a overkill at its BR

HS 129 B-2 30mm MK 103 HVAP pen about anything at he's BR

Do-335 B2 what's better than 1 MK 103? 3 of them + 1T payload !

Me 262 A1-U4, 50mm gun from above can do heavy damage

Ho-229 V3, 2 30mm MK 103 on a jet

No Me 210 B6-R3? Basically anything with Mk103 is a beast.

For USSR, Yak 9T/K would do the job.

germany, usa, britain best- russian worst.

Germany has most ground pounders, widest br spread for it and reliable lines.
But I think it was a british or american (moskito,beau or pbj, i dont remember) which was really amazing, look at it before. it has good pen, high explosiv filler (60g or something), defend aso

Germany has even more ground pounders than it looks like, because sometimes instead of bombs/rockets you install a high caliber cannon which are not shown in the data sheet.
even fw 190 get a good cannon. (f8 for example gets the 142mm pen cannon!!)
moreover: germany has the ju 87 lines starting with such cannons really early (3.0 where you can pen and destroy every tank).

the russian tree is the worst for tank hunting with cannons.
they have three tank hunter planes, excluded the lagg-3-34 or something, which is premium in todays special offer.
russian tree: yak 9t (4.3), on of the last su (su-2-37 or something 5.3) and a version of il-2m (3.3) gets the same cannon, the ns-37 with 60mm pen. to less for most tanks. su and il get 2 of that cannons, yak 9t gets 1.

i am flying with the yak 9t, and it makes so much fun to hunt tanks.. with upgraded cannon (but only then) it is possible to hit tanks precisly for engines,turrets... attack always from sides and try not to be so high in altitude to decrease angle (only for m18 and other sloped tanks, you need to fly from high altitude)- it is difficult and you would be better off with any other nation.
