Tank Fuel Consumption
In the game currently.
Planes have fuel but tanks do not. I think that in at least rb and sb. It would help make it more realistic because a lot of the extreamly powerful tanks were limited by their need of fuel. Where as the Sherman's were more efficient and didn't need to be refueled as much. Fuel could be gotten at friendly bases or possibly a teammate could give you fuel if you ran out in battle. What is your take on this idea?

Maps are too small to take this into consideration

Perhaps when the full Combined Arms things are released this would actually make sense in Sim. Until then, the maps are far too small for this to ever be useful.

Tanks can fight for like 1h easely before needing refuelling IRL, RB max mission time is 45min

Even tanks with insane fuel consumption like the Tiger I could travel up to 195 km as they could carry lots (540 L max) of fuel. The maps in WT are just to small for it. And to be honest, like aircraft with little fuel (such as the He 162 or Ki-200) engine for powered traverse to work. If you ran out, you would be stuck (be honest, how often would random people help?) and your turret traverse rate would drop to hand cranking (1-3 degrees per second depending on the tank).

What about it causing some tanks to be empty. Lets say you can choose the amount of fuel you take with you like in planes which will decrease fires and make you lighter/faster.

I don't know about WT, but an empty or near empty fuel tank is FAR more dangerous then a full one. Any kind of explosive round to an empty or near empty fuel tank and you would probably be blown in half or loose a wing (depending on where it was). When it comes to tanks, the amount of fuel will not have that noticable of an impact on speed.

Well it would've been a cool mechanic. Just like it would be cool if Jerry cans exploded.

This way shooting a fuel tank with a shell with no explosive would cause it to leak and need to be repaired to show or stop the leak

That would only be one fuel tank as most tanks had a minium of two. Some up to 5 (like some of the T-34's). The loss of 1-2 fuel tanks would still be enough to continue fighting.

Yes but it would refuse the amount of fuel they had

I'd like to see it as well. Maps may be small for tanks but for planes I always take the minimum amount of fuel (usually 30mins) and I never run out unless I have a severe fuel leak which doesn't happen that often (probably I die before I run out).
Also it would help reduce the amount of fires in the tank which can be a bit annoying since when you discover a certain spot on a tank and you shoot there 3 times it catches fire no matter what and he DED.

That would kill every late tier german tank...

Even something like a Tiger II can carry 860L of fuel spread across 6 fuel tanks. It would be worse for most Tier I tanks as they are small, and have small fuel tanks. But even then it would be enough to last an entire battle.
