Sturmpanzer 43 or Sturmtiger?
Anyone think these tanks for Germany would be a good idea?

Surmpanzer IV AKA Stupa, is already considered as KV-2 counter

What gun did the Löwe have?

Was it a 128mm?
Foxtrot39 22 ABR 2016 a las 8:07
Same as the tiger II 10.5cm

sturmtiger would be ♥♥♥♥
but brummbar (sturmpanzer iv) would be good idea
Macogodzilla 22 ABR 2016 a las 8:10
brummbar has a 150mm StuH 43 L/12 gun how long would you think reload would be i'd say 30 seconds or so.

The Sturmtiger could only hold if I remember right was about 8 shells due to the size and such since on the back they needed to be loaded in by a crane. If they put the sturmtiger in, it'll have little to no depression but it might work depending on how they make it work and such. But it would be fun to one shot everything with a 380 mm rocket shell.

It would have horrible velocity though, you aim like 45 degrees high and it hits 50m in-front haha.

"During the battle for the bridge at Remagen, German forces mobilized Sturmmörserkompanie 1000 and 1001 (a total of 7 units), and attached them to the 6th SS-Panzer Armee to take part in the battle. The Sturmtigers were originally tasked with using their howitzers against the bridge itself, though it was discovered that they lacked the accuracy needed to effectively hit the bridge. During this engagement, some reports suggest that one round from one of the howitzers managed to land between or nearby a group of Sherman tanks, obliterating them. However, given the inaccuracy of the Sturmtiger's gun, as well as the involvement of dive bombers and a railway gun in the battle, this story has never been confirmed. After the bridge fell to the Allies, Sturmmörserkompanie 1000 and 1001 were tasked with bombardment of allied forces to cover the German retreat, as opposed to the bunker busting for which they were originally designed." -

-Wiki on the Sturm Tiger

Oh and my mistake 14 shells it could carry, Otherwise it would have horrible accuracy but if it hits near medium or light vehicles it could be used too clear cap zones.

i imagine firing a sturmtiger would be similar to lobbing a 250kg bomb at the enemy :P
although if its anything like the KV2, it would have a really low velocity but be very accurate anyway lol
would be very fun :)

british could have the churchhill AVRE with the 400mm petard mortar :)
Foxtrot39 22 ABR 2016 a las 8:39
Capacity was 14 shell with one being already loaded in the breach

Used HEAT and HE shell, HEAT would be totally useless compared to the 125kg HE

Reload used a inner crane system placing the relaod time at a horrible average of 1min, outer crane was only used to relaod the ammorack

Gaijin said no to AVRE or at least "very unlickely" due to its specialisation
