Is the ZSU 37 any good at offense?

well i gets like 80mm of pen
so it can pen Tiger IIs from the side out to a pretty reasonable distance

lighter armoured tanks like Panther [sides]s or american TDs it just melts

Its apcr shells have 102mm of penetration. Thats enough for killing many kinds of tanks if you flank them.
But shooting air targets with it is not easiest thing, even aa trucks are better.

Really, what ammo though? BR167 or BR167P?

Really, what ammo though? BR167 or BR167P?

ZSU 37 -> modifications -> ammo -> point at any ammo type.

P.S. Cant check it out at the moment, but i think P means subcaliber (APCR). So you should choose BR167P.

The BR-167P is the HVAP (APCR) shell and what should be used on ground targets.

ZSU series of SPAA are better light tanks than most light tanks in game.

The 37 has enough penetration to take out a lot of tanks from the front with no need to flank. It being at 4.7 makes it extremely good for the BR range.

The 57 is quite honestly the best tier 5 tank the soviets have. It eats Leopards for breakfast.
