Warthunder 'Life Hacks'
So for those that don't know, a 'life hack' is just a quick, easy tip that just generally makes things a little easier in life
so what are your little 'life hacks' for warthunder?

For tank RB/SB i suggest to guess ranges, not elevations for rangefinding
by this i mean guess ''he's 800m away' then aim at the 800m [4th] notch, as opposed to guessing ''he's about there(lining up 4th notch)'' this is just so that when changing guns you wont throw off your aim. 800m is always 800m although the notches might change

and when firing at longer ranges, i would suggest to use the variable range setting on your sights, so that you dont forget which notch you were looking at (they all look the same really) and it even lets you 'jink' around a little to avoid fire without throwing your aim

so what do you guys have to offer?

know where you next shot will go to disable the enemy or finnish of the tank, i see so many people spam shots with not changing their aim when instead of 5 shots they could have used 2

Fly Japanese against the Allies. It's a turkey shoot.

Only if the allies are especially stupid.

If they actually know what they're doing (admittedly, they usually don't), Japan doesn't stand a chance.

Not really a life hack, but good tip nonetheless: keep in line with your team. If you get ahead of your teammates, you're almost definitely going to go down easily because you've already singled yourself out for the enemy.
If you're in something fast like a light tank, use your speed to flank, not to rush points.

I think that's what they're talking about but I have no idea how it helps.

All it does is show your barrel in your sight. I've always used it since it was added and it never gave any advatage or disadvantage.
