What is with the atgm's?

I really find tier 5 so bad now because of these. I mean why would you want any other tank they have 500/600mm pen and if they hit you they will either crit you to the point you are on fire and have 2 crew left or just get 1 hit. I can handle HEATSF but rockets one hitting me every game is just stupid. What do you guys think?

well the ATGMs travel pretty slow
their main advantage is that you dont have to range find, its just point and hit
IT-1 has the added benefit of a pretty fast reload for a russian top tier tank
however the flame trail is pretty hard to spot, especially if its head straight towards you, and garunteeing a first shot hit is a big deal

imo they never should have been added

Yes i do agree even though it says 200mm armour i cant pen it with my sabot round on the flat side

Remove rocket tanks in general and free killing rocket planes from AB and I'll be a happy camper! Or at the very least nerf them to the ground. The IT-1 in its current state can stand 2km away and shoot you to death in one shot without you ever knowing what just happened...

I don't even play late tier and I think ATGMs was a stupid idea. The whole fun of war-thunder is its not just "Point, click, dead", which is essentially what ATGMs, a point and click adventure that makes me think of WOTs horrible combat system.
