If your good enough aim the turret ring, long range shot with a broken drive is borderline impossible to do
Once you have APDS you can go through them like butter
Fuel tanks can soak up a lot and ammo rack hits are quite random. Brtish 57mm guns are great for this due to good pen and very fast reloads. But the downside is that you have flat armor that is quite thin and a cramped interior while the Soviets packed a lot of HE filler into there AP shells, making it very easy to knock out an entire British and German (not as much for the Americans) in a single hit. Something like a Cromwell or Crusader are very cramped and need to use speed to hide, pot shot, and flank.
Once you learn how to take out a T-34 (best thing to do is always dissable that weak turret first), you will find that as long as you get the first shot and get it right, its an easy target.
Manks Thanks, Very good advice I will try this now.
