Brummbar pros and cons (after test tracking it)
Before people begin whining about how "OP" it is I decided to list the pros and cons of this vehicle which the cons outweigh but is still a good tank. PROs: The main cannon has a LOT of punch to it, the HE shells can pretty much kill everything with a hit to the side and the HEAT shells have 250 pen to them. CONS: Same weaknesses as a panzer IV, the frontal slope wont help much, 22 second reload on the main cannon, cannon has mortar style shooting so you will have to aim up a lot to get a hit, and lastly, the shells are SLOW after being fired which will allow people to drive past your shot.
Hopefully the people that start whining about the tank can use the cons to their advantage.

~500 Brumbar tanks saw active service - gets put in as Premium tank
~2 Dickers made - gets put in regular tree

Gaijin logic.

premium has pretty much nothing to do with how many were built
its entirely dependant on whether or not Gajin can pass it off for money

A good derp gun? you mean the most superior derp gun of all? it hits way harder than a kv-2, with less than half the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reload. 14 second brummbär, what the ♥♥♥♥? Did gaijin really want to sell it that badly so they had to slap a 14 second reload on a tank that could be fired once a minute or kill the crew in the tank?
well that was more of a joke than anything else...
people have been asking for a SturmPanzer for a while, and when we get one its a premium.
i personally would have thought the Sturmtiger would have made a nice premium with others such as the SturmPanzer IV and could have been great standard ones

have you seen the drop on it's gun? and also kv2 has a turret

dont compare it to a KV2, compare it to an SU152, which has a much faster reload than a KV2

Gaijin logic.

Even better,

KV-2. Very dangerous to use actually use (Transmission burnouts, turret ring rotating on non-flat terrain, etc) and Soviets were on the defence when it was to be actually used, when they actually started attacking Germany the KV-2 was replaced.
BONUS ROUND: Even has an AP shell that it could not actually fire IRL, if it did, it would detonate in the turret killing the crew IIRC.

Put in the main tree.

Brummbar. They were actually sent to 4 different batallions which were used in battle. Although the use of HEAT shells would have been unlikely, it could have fired HE shells at enemy troops. It was built to serve a similar role to the KV2, as a bunker buster (storm tank). But strangely enough, the Germans continued to use them even when on the defence.

Made Premium.

The only reason I could see Gaijin doing this, is because of the HEAT shell. Although everyone will probably complain "Oh no, thu Germans actually hav good derp tank!11! OP!!11!!1" and get it taken out of the shop.

And for those crying about it's "OP" armor, keep in mind the British have a lovely tank called the Churchill that has 152mm of frontal armor, at BR 4.7

Brummbars were used on the defensive because a guns a gun, the enemy wont decide to stop being dead because the brummbar wasnt meant for that :P

fun fact about the KV2, the germans used theyre captured ones as mobile artillery observation points, because they were so tall and impractical in battle
they were also only issued at a single one per tank division, because of the aforementioned impracticality

Gaijin logic.

Numbers built no longer have anything to do with being premium or not anymore.

It's all about the hype, if something has been hyped up a lot and people seem to want it badly, they're gonna make it premium because they know people are gonna pay for it. Remember the H8K? Or the Wyvern? And even the Do 335, they couldn't have released it without putting one of the versions as a premium.

22 seconds, not 14

yup :) thanks
Iv noticed most premiums are not OP its the person driving it that takes advantage of its Pros, and enemy knows the tank and can take advantage of its cons.
