Never ever buy a new release vehicle, wait for the initial nerf cycles and you may find that you really don't need it.
If a premium item makes sense in SL repair cost and helps in making a stable line-up then 'maybe' else, no.
Buying another game helped me experience something different & refreshing apart from the Warthunder climate. I still return to it quite often but few other games have smothered the itch to research faster in this game. Not sure if any of this help, putting it out there nevertheless.
