War Thunder

Statistiche:
Japanese planes and measly guns
The planes themselves are pretty nice, but the guns, UGH so bad.
How should you fight with them? After 120 ammo of cannon is gone you are left with 7.7mm guns x 2, which are not enough to kill a fly if you try really hard. So is it then back to base to re-arm all the time?? This is bad...

Sorry I changed it...
In these replies you will get a lot of advice from professional Japanese pilots with maybe 30 flyouts per plane and more than likely couldn't show you a single tier 4 Japanese plane with a good K/D/A on their card.

The truth is Japanese planes in this game have higher BR's than they should and that is why you're having trouble killing things. Your guns are the worst of every single nation all the way from tier 1 - tier 4 and your planes are also the most fragile. They can however turn very well, but this game is catered to high flying, BnZ along with head ons, so the Japanese nation is a complete waste of time unless you're trying to play on hard mode.

for gun belts you want to find whichever belt has the most HE/HEI which is typically stealth at later tiers and some times tracers/universal at lower tiers. If you're looking for a gun belt that is even with other nations you simply will not find it.

Lol no it's not. Most people don't bother climbing at all, with American players being notorious for not climbing or climbing directly at the enemy. Japanese planes are easily some of the best in the game, with the vast majority being boom 'n' zoom/energy fighters. The only aircraft that are dedicated turners are most of the Tier 1s and the Reisen line. Despite being overtiered, Japan still manages to win the vast majority of the time. Most of my losses as Japan have been due to AI targets winning the game for the US team, not because the Japanese team had been slaughtered.

It's a common misconception that Japanese planes have no armour, but this was only true to the navy fighters. The army fighters generally had armour and a powerful armament to match. The N1Ks fight P-80s and F-84s, and generally always win. I don't have a great KD/R in my N1K2 because I really didn't know how to fly it when I unlocked it, but despite that I still have over a 60% winrate in it.
