Hs-123 with cannons
Few years ago I saw the last surviving Hs 123 in Istanbul Aviation Museum and if I don't remember wrong it had 20mm cannons, probably like extra pods, wouldn't it be nice addition to have such weaponary?

The B-2 already have 2 20mm in the nose, isn't that the same?

nd with its horrid turn time and underpowered engine it will be only useless weight

Gun pods are a thing in game, most of em are german (and can be found on various Me109s and Fw190s).

There's also a version of the Hs-123 mounted with a 75mm cannon in game, in case that's what you are talking about.

It's Hs 129, Hs 123 is earlier and unrelated aircraft to it. By extra I mean not really like gun pods, rather integrated inside wings.

The Russian IL-2 1942 is good with rockets not FW 190 or HS 123

Bf109
i thought you meant Hs123 and i though finally germans get something to rival the Chaika but alas
we dont need more firepower on the Hs129 really, and ive checked google and wikipedia and can find no evidence of them mounting 20mms anywhere but the already existing nosemount im afraid
wikipedia however did imply that the 37mm should carry more than 12rounds. as it says that the Ju87 37mm only carried 12 rounds, however there was more room on the Hs129 which eliminated this issue
so that could be intresting, my main issue with the 37mm is that 12 rounds is nothing on a gun that calibre

I know Hs 123 with 20 mm cannons aren't mentioned in wikipedia, but I'm pretty sure one I saw had 2 of them mounted on it. Also I would like to draw your attention to missing knowledge about last surviving Hs 123 on wikipedia.

I mean Hs 123 as the title suggests. It's very unfortunate that our museums fail to promote their inventory.
Tengiz Jul 19, 2016 @ 2:29pm
What appears to be it's some other aircraft then Hs 123, sorry for my bad.

this comment confused me :/

having checked the Hs123's wiki page it mentions nothing about extra 20mms, and specifically states that there are no known surviving air craft

although intresting to note, when i searched it a blog article appeared that had the drop down description of
''The Henschel Hs 123 was a single-seat biplane dive bomber and close-support ... extra machine guns and even cannons in under ... thumbs/Henschel_Hs123.jpg''
but within the blog i can find nothing of the sort mentioned again :/
here it is btw https://www.onwar.com/weapons/aircraft/planes/Henschel_Hs123.html
it also mentioned wikipedia as its sole referance, so not exactly up to bug reporting standards for evidence im afraid

Maybe I can help. The German wikipedia links to a webiste where are gunpods for the HS 123-B mentioned: http://www.fliegerweb.com/de/lexicon/Geschichte/Henschel+Hs+123-382

There was a variant Hs 123-C with 1935 Oerlikon 20 mm MG FF, before Germany switched to 20 mm MG 151/20 in it's fighters from 1941.

It is interesting to point out the same cannon was used in A6m Zero named the Type 99
