How do wagers work?

Ive been playing war thunder for a few months now and i have accumulated quite a few wagers and they have some preatty big amounts of SLs and GEs on them but I havent used them because I have no Idea what to do after I activate them. Please help me.

Pretty much just follow the directions on the wager - You get a certain amount of kills or wins-in-a-row (I believe) and it ranks you up in the wager. The higher you get, the higher the payout

Activate them, set maximum stake, after 1 win you'd get it back anyways, play for the objective of the wager, once you've finished the wager either by fulfilling all the tasks or by failing the allowed times it gets paid out.

Some are rather easy like Thunderer or get 5 kills, get 10 kills... you can do wingman wager if you're in a squad and really fly together with someone, and mission maker waker is close to impossible I'd say.

You need at least 1 tier 3 vehicle in your lineup, don't even have to use it, it just has to sit there. My preferred lineup for most, icluding golden wagers, is US BR 3.0 AB planes, mostly tier 2 with the 2 BR 3.0 tier 3 P-47 to make the lineup valid.

For hero of the sky and get 10 kills I usually take a German BR 6.3 lineup, AB as well.

First Rule...Squad up with 3 other players that can do whatever it takes to win. Doesn't matter if it's a GE or SL wager. They need to be able to kill ground targets, bomb bases, or Cap. Do not expect a randomly generated team to worry about your wager.
