Screenshots automatically hide HUD.
Since a couple of updates ago, the game hides all the HUD elements whenever you take a screenshot with Steams built in F12 function, which is nice. But sometimes you want to HUD there when you screenshot. Is there a way to turn this HUD hiding feature off? I have looked online and there are no helpful advice on how to change this.

You could always use the PrtSC key. Then alt+tab to your preferred image software (paint, gimp, irfanview etc) and hit ctr+v.

edit: I might mention that you'll also need to add it to your screenshot collection if you intend to share the image on steam.

Im not at my pc to look, but there is an option buried in there somewhere. Look under camera or misc, or search for keywords hud or screen

Windows Snip & Sketch is my go to now - Win+Shift+S - can do fullscreen or just a drag and drop selection of anything on your screen

Well where in the settings is it? And what do I look for? I have already looked for this a hundred times and I can't find the option, hence why I started this discussion. Either it is called something else then "screenshot" or it in some other hidden option tab.

Nevermind a friend told me. For anyone in the future that stumbles upon this, It is in the commons tab for some reason.

I think the default option hides the HUD when pressing F12. For me HOLDING F12 takes a screenshot with HUD and just tapping it takes one without.
Isn't this how it works for everyone?
