Jets Vs Props

Tally ho,

When ever i am flying my jets, i never seem to be killed by other jets its all ways prop planes.
I play aracde mostly with some RB.

i am starting to see why people hate jets lol.

Arcade heavily equalizes planes. Normally, a prop plane doesn't stand a chance against a jet. If you get shot down by prop planes in RB, then the reason probably lies in the fact that you are using your jet for turn fighting. Jets are not designed for that style of combat. Every prop plane can make much tighter turns than a jet, because they are a lot slower.

Yeah i know about the whole turn fighting thing, its the fact in arcade it just seems to screw jets in the face with prop planes keeping up in climbs and dives.

Yeah, arcade is not a good representative mode of a plane's individual strength and weaknesses. I recommend that you just make sure that you keep your speed high all the time during an attack approach.
Most people find Jets boring, because you have to B&Z, which makes for far less frantic action dogfights :)

In RB? Then you are either a fantastic player with a lot of luck, or you were fighting jet noobs, because a skilled jet player flies at speeds that would tear a D13's wings off if you so much as tilt your nose.

I was against some top pilots, i recognised their names and they pulled some crazy manouvers making it very difficult to get kill them.

I have shot down my fair share of jets in my D-13. Last time I checked, I have shot down about 10 jets with it. Also, AB is the great equalizer. Anyone can shot down anything in any plane.

AB is a huge equalizer. Yesterday had a P-51 keeping up with my Ki200. I wasnt able to outrun him, or outclimb him, so I just darted around trying to make some distance since the Ki200 can handle well. At low altitudes the jets are SLOW. The air is thicker at lower altitudes, and it's harder to move fast through. Diving at low alt it's hard to break 700km/h in a jet sometimes, whereas at 5000km you can fly flat at roughly 800km/h in arcade, and a dive can quickly get you to 1000+km/h

Ki-84 can dive on a lot of jets in arcade. It's faster than some, for sure.

reason why you could shoot down a jet is also due to the time of that jet being made like the yak15 this jet is early era and goes 760km/h where the MiG 15 and sabre go way above that jets speed as that they are cold war era. dont get me wrong some jets in this game are better in the early era like the german nation with the me 163 or japan's ki 200 going around 900km/h.
