Russia is getting a new Prem. Light Tank

It seems steam players side haven't noticed the new premium 2S38. It can scout, Shoot planes with fuse HE. PLUS "automatic target tracking for air targets". Since the turret is crewless they put a radar inside of it. Dev Blog also says "high power-to-weight ratio" so it seems it's gonna be a fast boi. The main gun is a further development from the S-60 series( gun from ZSU-57-2) It's AP ammo is 150mm and since the new premium comes with the APFSDS shell maybe it pen more than the latter. Lastly thermals :)

Classic Gaijin move. Release new vehicles at BR that makes them OP beyond belief to get all the whales and try-hards to shovel more money into the furnace only to correct the "oversight" after a the sales trends show the peak has passed.

Yeah, Russia gets fed the not even in service vehicles, that will for sure overperform while things like the PUMA does not even get missiles, SEP gets broken ass hull armor and useless ERA.

For some reason its harder to get information about 80's tanks from the west than it is from tech demonstator tanks that just went live this year for Russian stuff.

The 2S38 shouldnt even be in the game.

It would have made more sense as a battlepass vehicle, "smell of victory" ie this vehicle smells like a win rate boost machine and smells like death/defeat for anything that moves.

Atleast then it would fade into non-existence 2 months after the battle pass ends.

They probably want high tier dominating like top tier. Everyone must know how great Russia is and how much superior their technology is compared to the rest of the world.

Well the PT-76 was brought to 8.0 so it would have an easier time killing things, when it started out there were a lot of vehicles near it in BR which it couldn't easily kill, the 2S38 doesn't have that problem, it can kill everything at its BR easily and moving it up in BR won't change that, its a russian HSTVL with the ability to beat aircraft, kill light vehicles with APHE (meaning no armor best armor doesn't exist if the 2S38 is on the enemy team) and it can snipe ATGM's and heli's out of the air if they come close enough (anywhere from 0m-9999m for heli's and 0m-4000m for ATGM's as long as they aren't coming straight at the 2S38).

between 1-9 of these in every match (but it varies like crazy). It will die down by January maybe even December, but for now its being spammed instead of the turms (plus vets and content creators are seal clubbing in it so be careful at 9.7, might run into a noob or a tank wrecking ball).

Yeah the speed is kinda strange, its not really all that heavy, it should be like the BT-42 and the BT-7, one ways more but its still able to reach its top speed reasonably quickly. Maybe gaijin did it to give other light tanks a chance to grab the cap circles before the 2S38 shows up?

Look up tanks in general. I do NOT envy tank crews and field mechanics one bit. Keeping a car running can be a pain even if you have a decent idea of what you're doing, these babies need a whole hell of a lot more love and care.

Look up tanks in general. I do NOT envy tank crews and field mechanics one bit. Keeping a car running can be a pain even if you have a decent idea of what you're doing, these babies need a whole hell of a lot more love and care.

That's true enough but I'm just saying that german mains begging for reliability mechanics would be the biggest victim, no other mass produced tank that I know of loves to set itself on fire just by driving at a slight incline and has a final drive that only lasts 100km.
