Has anyone had the misfortune to grind : Hs 129 ?

ive long since grinded past this aircraft but cant jump into next tier without getting past this hurdle - and what a hurdle it is!

the 75mm cannon is great but that one feature seriously costs this aircraft lol

Nobody uses it unless trying to do random stunts and shoot tanks which is fun AF if you hit

it used to be like at least grindable with the old vehicle mechanics for air, but then they made everything modeled like a real vehicle (great change dont get me wrong) and that as well as many other low-tier high caliber memes suffered.

I love seeing them when I’m playing SPAA but trying to fly one is like trying to fly a brick with a lawnmower engine. You are good for one pass and if any enemy planes are up or any SPAA are worth a damn then one pass is all you will get because your airspeed is awful after your zoom climb.

I have got 45 kills on 42 death on Hs 129 B-3, so it's not so super bad :D
Plus I am sure many more assists.
Yeah, it's really bad after you shot, but if you will remember to gain alt before attack and be patience, it's IMHO ok CAS for low rank battles.

You can also bring it to Air RB, but you need to go straight to attack ground targets as far away from "dogfight zone" as you can, because if anyone notice you, you are dead :D

ive definitely got a few kills with it but its got to be said that when you jump in that plane you know exactly how its going to end lmfao.

Well, from my example I can say - yeah, I will die, but I will take at last 1 enemy with me :D It's almost same like cheap kamikaze bombing, but it's not cheap, it's skill based honorabu death :D

Where theres plenty things for its large cannon to shoot at
And far less masses of fighter jokies diving on you like Seaguls at a beach resort.

At such a low BR, its gun is wasted on the lightweight ground targets of Air modes anyway.

Remember everyone, pick the shell that says AP-T for the Hs-129 B-3 as that one is the same shell that the Pz.IV F2 uses. It packs a punch, literally, as it packs High Explosive content inside it.

Do not pick the shell that says HVAP-T, as that is the Pz.IV F2's equivalent to the APCR... with a different name.

The Hs 129 B-2 is one of my favourite aircraft in the game for chill grinding, love my premium Romanian versions.
