Why do you need to buy FPE and parts for tanks?

Tanks don't even have basic requirements lol. imagine, you get a brand new tank, like T26 and you can't even fix yourself.

I'm not in the end game tank combat, but what I've heard the modules for those tanks take a crap ton of RP to unlock.

We already had this whole rant from the whole playerbase, gaijin didnt make parts and fpe stock, all they did was reduce the sl and rp cost of them. And make an april fools joke

its plauging the game since tanks added... and people ever since complaining about it rightfully.

the only thing gajin did is made a joke sale about this problem(translate: we dont give a s*it about this) for the whales, and called it a day.

it would be so simple just giving a basic repair and fpe ability with a increased repair time, and a longer fire extinguis effect when you using the fpe ability, and when you research out this two module you get a much better performance, but naaahhh that would be to good... lets just keep people suffer and burning like a BBQ in the midle of the open field.

Meh I am still use to them not being stock, but others I guess got to use to it being easy to unlock on their t1 stuff and now want it free on every thing. Me its more of a pain in the ass in boats but I still suck it up they even made spare parts first thing you research by defualt. And many of these vehichles spare parts and FPE were not stock so meh

I have an idea, make it where it takes 3 hours to repair your tracks, and the standard doctrine for many WW2 tanks is “if your tank is on fire, get out.”

I know right they want realism and go "well wouldn't FPE be stock?" Its like ♥♥♥♥ there wasn't even seat belt laws back then lol. If you ♥♥♥♥ got caught on fire you bailed he hell out 9/10. In fact I think only ones who really had fancy FPE like systems and didn't bail out first sign of fire were select models of aircraft, and we don't even have them in game at all, but I know some bombers you could toggle fuel to burning engines off and another to use a limited time use FPE system for engine fires only.

That is other thing to FPE works on all fires not just engine fires in game. Its more aprent with the ships the traditional FPE was added on near engine and was for engine fires yet I got install it to have my crew fight a fire on the deck...

making a tank realistic game is good... until the expense of the gameplay experience starting to decline.

no mater how hard people whining about why its necessary to keep this freak state of repairing and fpe situation, burning dow or sitting in near spawn because a random arty shell blowed off your transmission is never going to be "fun", thats a fact and not a excuse to get something "free"

Gaijin could just remove Parts and PFE from the grind. How come does a crew need to RE-LEARN use of a tool or PFE similar in the previous tank? The game is like: you get the crappiest tank there is without anything but some ammo. Like a tank that is about to go to scrapping. And the crew is so dumb it can not use PFE and tools in the new tank, over and over again. The evident handicap is more noticeable in higher tiers where you can not sit still for long or having a stock tank just makes you a free XP box, low BR is a slapping contest anyhow.

Basically they want you to grind as much as you can until you get frustrated and buy the mods with GE. Also, you end up getting so frustrated that you can't hit anything, repair or put out fires that you buy the mods. Same with making top tier have crap rewards and have insane research costs.
