probably worse

Around 15 to 20 decent games point wise every 2 days for 6 of 7 48 hour periods to get the points required. Not the worst, but still going to be more than a lot of people can afford to spend on the game.

35,000 mission score over two days, split into 6 stages (okay 7 stages, but you only need 6 for the Sturmtiger).

35,000 mission score / 2 days = 17,500 mission score per day. There are some modifiers depending on the tier of vehicle used, but 17,500 score daily can be done in 3-4 matches if you have really good games or play in modes/vehicles with higher multipliers. And since it is mission score it doesn't require wins or specific battle awards.

35k points per stage, you need 6 stages for Sturmtiger.

More realistic is that you'll get like 1000 for the average player, needing 35 games or 3-4 hours per day.
35,000 per two days, 17,500 per day if it's easier to break it down into more manageable chunks of game time.

I tend to get between 4-5,000 points per game, yes. I said that it 'can' be done in 3-4 matches per day, but again it will depend on multipliers too for higher tiers and different modes and how good each game is.
I would say that 1000 points on average is too low for the average WT player, I see most games in ground RB have anywhere from 2/3 to 3/4 of the team over 1000 points. Unless someone is spawning once and leaving a lot, but that isn't the best way to total up mission points for an event like this.

With the demands of it being roughly having to be done in Tier 3 or higher and the insane repair costs now, this is certainly going to be miserable.

2k is not the average number of points for a normal player. That would be closer to 1000 to 1500, based off mine and other players games. So that actually more then 8-9 games, which is already close to way too much warthunder for myself in several days let alone one.

The games just not fun when you force yourself to play that much.

35k points each 2 days for a rank IV premium is actually great. This year during VE-day we had a similiar event where u could get a special IS-2 by grinding 40k points each 2 days, and that thing wasnt even a premium.

In commparison to all the events so far this year, this is currently the best event in terms of reward:effort ratio

Plus to get 5.000 points you're somehow getting what, 20 kills on average per game?
I mean, 2k points at tier 3 with a .8 multiplier will net you more points than a 1000 point game at top tier with a 1.2 multiplier. 1600 compared to 1200 for example.
If you play vehicles you like and are good in, you'll earn way more points than throwing single spawns at a wall hoping for a really good match somewhere in there.

I also find during non-event times I earn much more RP overall by playing vehicles I am used to then cobbling together a lineup I either don't grasp the full mechanics of (like A2A missiles, flares, etc.), even if I am researching a tier 6 jet with a prop. I get the allure of getting a high tier premium but personally I find slow and steady wins the race, and I have more fun. Whether you want to call that nurturing one playstyle or another comes down to opinion.

And no, usually 10-15 kills (depending on mode, I typically play air AB or ground RB) or less kills (maybe 7/8, idk I would have to go back and check some post-battle result screens) and add some caps is usually plenty for those kinds of scores. I'm not the best player by any means but I think I do decent.

Sure I have done it before too, does mean I had fun with literally any of the grinding events, which I didn't have. Which you could say is my fault, but you could also make the grinding easier too, which would allow players to have fun and grind.

Puts the average for a player at like 900 points, meaning for 35k that's about 39 games, 39 games with an average game taking a bit over 10 minutes, add in loading times, crew lock ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and all that, 15 minute average x 39 = just shy of 10 hours over 2 days, or 5 hours of playing per day.

Then you need 6 marks, so that's 60 hours of gameplay in 10 days, a full time job would be pretty much the same amount of hours, in return you get a single premium vehicle at 6.3, which tend to sell for around 3000 GE, which is about $20 in 60h.

So basically Gaijin values our time at about 0.30 cents per hour.
I'll float it out there that one highly edited screenshot =/= the average game. Perhaps the average from your experience at a given BR on a given day. If you're going to base all of your calculations on time commitment and required gameplay from one screenshot and assumption you can do that, but it doesn't make it accurate.

It will vary per person and factor in other things that I mentioned, like tier of vehicle and mode played.

To humor the edited screenshot, look at it this way:
Again, take with a grain of salt, as there is a lot of information missing from that snippet. Tier/mode/what vehicles people were playing, etc.

Blue team average score: 913.875
Red team average score: 917.6

If this were a tier 3 game in ground RB the scores (factoring in the 1.33 RB multiplier and the .8 tier 3 multiplier) would be:

Blue average: 972.363
Red average: 976.3264

If this were a Tier 7 game in ground RB with the 1.33 RB and 1.2 tier 7 multipliers it would be:

Blue average: 1458.5445
Red average: 1464.4896

If this were a Tier 3 ground AB game, then with the .8 multiplier it would be:

Blue team average score: 731.1
Red team average score: 734.08

All this to point out in your claim of an average game there can quite literally be a doubling of the average points scored depending on the mode, and an even greater variance depending on the performance of the individual player.
I just don't don't get it, why they can't do a normal fun events, I'm not saying that everything should be very very easy, but not a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ grindfest. How fun is that.... And why are all the events are with rank 3 and higher vehicles, what about those who don't have them?

I personally am an average player. And for example, yesterday I had several sessions when I couldn’t even complete the mission to the end because I was constantly one-shotted by a vehicle 1 rank higher than mine. And how do you earn points? Sessions seem to be normal for the average player when both teams are almost equal in rank.

That's why it's called average.

Could be 1400, could be 700, could be 970.. average is still 1000, which doesn't change a whole lot at the end of the day.

Great if you somehow manage to complete this by getting 20 kills per game and you're done within the hour, but the average player is yet again going to have to treat this game like a job, hours and hours per day to not miss out on a meme vehicle.
Ya it's not even that worth of a grind. I don't even play Germany that much. But the 10 rare vehicles is nice and mean that basically I get a one or two free vehicles, which I will take all day.
