Got hacked and ask Gaijin support - received no help at all...
Yesterday someone got into my Gaijin account. Not through Steam, but from their site. I had something like 1.8m SL that I've slowly built up. (I play with free repair and advance several nations slowly at the same time.) When I logged back in those SL were wasted buying alot of chests and keys, a sabotage.

Of course I should've enabled two step authorization. But I never used the marketplace and logging into my Gaijin account yesterday to create a support ticket was one of the very few times I logged into it. I've always used Steam to just play.

I posted screenshots and logs and explained in detail what happened. I posted a screenshot of login activity of the Gaijin account and there it could be read an IP address from Belarus logged in.

However Gaijin has refused to help me. They respond (someone named Tatiana from Gaijin) that they would not do anything about it.

So yes, their support sucks.
They don't care to help you.
I won't be playing this game again, that's for sure...

For my part my steam accounts all new ip that connects to my accounts is block, logically warthunder does the same thing not ?

Apparently not.
Other sites I've seen that if there is a new login from an unknown computer an email would be sent, or even blocked until confirmed.
I am sorry to hear that you have such issues with your account, but Support cannot turn back the time and force you to protect your account better :(
We as Gaijin provide various options to protect your account, but it's up to you to use them.
You can get an email if someone log in to your account from different than usual IP address
You can enable various 2step authentications: e-mail, text, special app.
But you need to do it by yourself, we will not force it on you.

Can you please share your ticket number with me? I will check details on your ticket.

then it's the gaijin server that was hacked, no need to look further, probably the user data is in the wild.

It is possible a Data leak could have happened. We've read about it before recently here and there.

And my password were not that simple, containing uppercases and numbers and all that, nothing that would at first be guessed....
It's not a data leak, you leaked your password or got a keylogger/virus, gaijin isn't liable for your mistakes

Typical answer from a fanboi of Gaijin?

My password is complex.
A keylogger is something that record keystrokes. But since I did not login to the Gaijin account (thus not typing the password) how would it be logged? I just press play on Steam client to start Warthunder.
My antivirus has not picked up any, and I'm eduacted enough to not visit any suspicious websites that could contain embedded malware/virus, or download pirated games.

Sooo, someone got into your account because your password sucks and you don't have any extra protection and You're mad they won't give you your stuff back? Isn't that the same policy as Steam for a few years?

And as usually the first in response, jumping immidiatly into gaijins defens and calling everyone a failure and a fool. Seriously dude, get lost, nobody likes you.

You would be suprised how often leakes happen, you might hear it from big companies. But smaller, insignificant companies like gaijin. There you rarely hear from it. Alone because its way more likely that no-one ever noticed it.

Though, i thought showing gaijin support that you have excess to the WT account and the Steam Account connected to it would be enough to convince them that you are the owner. Sad to hear that THAT doesn´t even work.
There was no leak, gaijin's security Is pretty much the same as Steam , they didn't get hacked recently either, but hey let's blame gaijin and throw common sense out the window, the best you guys have to blame gaijin Is "sometimes Big companies have leaks" it's really telling how stupid all three of you are when you blame Big companies everytime something Bad happens, would you blame Steam if your account got Taken because you had no Steam guard and you leaked your own info? Would that be a failure on Steam 's part of on yours?
You guys complain companies take your private information and then turn around and complain when you leak your own info and the company doesn't instantly catch on while having no indication that something Is wrong.
You guys will never be satisfied or rational, but i Guess being in an echo Chamber and blaming gaijin Is easier than reflecting on yourself with such Big egos yet nothing to warrant it.
Unsubscribing from this thread, you're all genuienly idiots and hypocrites and don't deserve help or attention, enjoy getting your accounts Taken over because you don't understand online security OP.

Last thing, you don't even understand how a keylogger works, your antivirus doesn't matter as most available are placebos that don't do anything Windows Defender does. A keylogger doesn't need you to type in your password, this isn't 2005, they Can get them on anything you don't have 2FA on, change your password and put on 2FA now, gaijin isn't liable and you aren't gonna get anything back.
Also the person that took your account bought lootboxes...
Are you sure you're nost just mad you didn't get what you Want out of them and Want your SL back? Because you're pretty defensive and unrational for someone that Hasn't done anything wrong...

But you can help me by simply deleting my account on Gaijin since I won't be coming back.

Me when I see an incalculable number of account to sell from the obscure quote I wonder where and the logic.
Have a great day.

From what I got, Support instructed you on how to avoid this in future i.e. activate 2fa, change passwords for both email and gaijin acc.
They cannot do anything else if the issue happened not on our end. I am sorry that you are not happy with the answer, but that's all we can do without causing any issues in future. If we will start to revoke changes on players account "on demand" we would get thousands of tickets just to revoke stuff from buying modifications to changing crew slots.

If you want to delete your account, you need to do it by yourself via button in panel (same panel, where you can enable all the protection levels I mentioned before) https://store.gaijin.net/profile.php?view=settings

Please be aware:
Your account will be blocked after confirming deletion. Irreversible account deletion can take up to 30 days in automated mode. You may also contact support to request a quicker deletion. If you decide to cancel the deletion, you should contact support as soon as possible.

Due to fact, that all you wanted was to complain and did not search for any solution, this thread is now locked.
