To be honest, as we progress into Gen 4 (5 or 6 Depending how you look at it) I wouldn't doubt if Gaijin released an F-14B or D Premium. Bare in mind, we stand to see planes like the F-15, F-16, Mirage 2000, Tornado variants, and of Course, Mig-29 and Su-27's. There are tons of opportunities for Gaijin to release premium versions of Rank 8 Planes. The F-14A is going to be a huge deal, but is only the tip of the ice burg. Being the model was released at the very end of Vietnam, still mostly falls in line with the Rank 7 planes as many others also had variants released in the 70's. We will only find out in due time.

No itd be dumb to let new players buy their way into the top. They already kinda do and they all suck horribly cause they have no previous skills learned through the lower tiers. A lot of top tier player have little respect for new players in top tier cause most of the time they die and have no backups and lose the match faster. And although this may not be the case for air rb its still not wise to have a skill less player in top tier right away since its a steep learning curve and is very different from low tiers. Ive even seen team killing new players in jets. Personally i dont but ive seen people who do. And personally i think its a bad idea why let people just buy what others spent time grinding out. There may be one in the future when its no longet top tier though.

Gaijin stated that they would never implement premiums that would be at the very top of the br brackets. Considering that the F-14A would basically require a br of 11.7 or higher, I doubt we'll see a premium F-14 in the next months.

On the other hand we are talking about Gaijin, who not only stated they would never be interested in developing supersonic aircrafts, but also that they wouldn't exceed the Korean war era.

Always expect the unexpected, it's Gaijin we're talking about afterall
