At the moment, and especially when the next update drops, don't.

Seriously, it's 10.7 with no flares or RWR, meaning you have to be extremely vigilant to catch missile launches visually, then evade them using you agility.

That kills your speed. So you can only avoid 1-2 missiles before you're a guaranteed kill for the next one fired. On top of this you only get ok IR missiles, so your range and lethality is limited.

Kay is right..
The J35D is for now obsolete until it gets the better missile it ones had IRL..
Its fast and agil but it doesnt help when your missiles are pure cancer..

If you take it in to SIM it will perform much better..cause of agility..
otherwise put it at side until we can upgrade it..

You don't have any flares or a RWR so you need exceptional situational awareness. It's the most manoeuvrable plane at it's BR but becomes sluggish if you turn too many times. If someone manages to launch a missile at you, you're probably dead. Be very cautious about which fights you pick because if you're outnumbered you will most likely die. When in a 1v1 it's a pretty good fighter but those fights rarely happen in air battles.

The missiles you get are decent but won't really kill people who are paying attention. The guns hit hard but (in my opinion) they're very hard to aim especially since they removed the tracers, you need to lead way more than you think.

The thing is when you fly around like a ninja and look for possible targets for the J35D.
you run in to the risk that you wil not find anything.
The air matches in top tier last for about 5 minutes and very often you will get out of the match killing nothing..

We need EC maps for toptier..Whenever i come in to an EC map with my draken i can kill stuff. then it becomes more lets say easy cause then you fight 1vs1 and you often win those.

Thats why i recomend you to go SIM. in there you fight 1vs1 often..
