My favourites are:
PvKv II (turreted)
Ferdinand
JPz 4-5
Jagdpanzer 38t
STUG IIIG
Pvkv m/43 (1946)
I played many more but I don't quite like, say, the M18 for instance. Anyway, these are my favourites. I find the Russian assault guns hard to play for a variety of reasons.
For ATGM Carriers, I'd personally go with Russia or you can play the Bradleys and ADATs as ATGM Carriers
I'd put Sweden as number two, they have good guns though a little weaker than German guns. Swedish tank destroyers also have some insane depression which let's you do some interesting stuff. They're paper thin however and 50 cals will shred you, better hope planes don't notice you either. They're very rewarding but you need good map knowledge and knowledge of the enemies you'll face so you know where to shoot if you're using APDS or regular AP.
Third place would be Russia. I haven't played all of them but they usually have good firepower and decent frontal armor. Some even go beyond and start packing derp guns which are overkill but fun to use regardless. Not the best but definitely not bad either.
Lorraine 37L - great low-tier TD
M10 - classic
ARL-44 - point and kill weapon, great ballistics
CA Lorraine - fast, sneaky, huge gun and gives the player +10sm ♥♥♥♥ size
Foch - mounted 15mm machine gun (better than DSHK), best armour on it's BR, absolutely untouchable as a sniper TD, good speed, mobility etc.
FC Bis - Not gonna lie this one is just for fun, because it can hide pretty much anywhere
Dunno about premiums or 8.0+, but France has consistenly good TDs and are unique (shame, that all the fun starts around 5.3)
Germany is high on the turret-less TD gameplay.
Japan has some decent TDs but it tails off in upper BR.
China has a solid combo of USSR and US TDs.
Italy has a handful of solid TDs and a dozen sub-par ones.
US has some fun turret-less TDs but is definitely a turreted line.
France has some solid TDs one of the standouts are turreted.
I suppose the answer depends on how you define a good or viable "TD lineup."
German and USSR are one of the few trees that I know of that at a BR take 4 preforming TDs to a match.
Looking at German Rank 3 with 6 TDs that put out at 5.3.
But most nations do fine if you want to lean into their TD line. They are perfectly effective if you can play to their strengths and minimize their weaknesses.
Both have roughly an equal number of Solid TD lineups
Russia is good from the beginning and gets better from there onward
Germany is okay in the beginning gets good towards the Jagdpanther and then drops off and becomes less effective than russia
Sweden bad from the beginning on every TD but they get amazing rounds when spaded, this is more of a hard mode for TD players.
Italy its a fun version of germany which while it never fully surpasses germany with casemates they are still enjoyable to play.
Japan they get amazingly survivable TD's and then nothing until the Ho Ri's show up and when they do they curb stomp the majority of enemies, despite having weaker armor they manage to tank hits and ignore most of the rounds thrown their way, still the jump from low tier the high tier is a major downside.
