(and maybe do the same afterwards in the WT launcher. launcher settings (wrench icon in the top right corner of the launcher -> check files (button on the left side))
if this doesn't help you may delete the game cache by going into the War Thunder game folder and delete the content in the ..\cache\ folder (or even delete the cache folder itself) - make sure neither the launcher nor the game client itself is running while you do that.
last but not least a full reinstall of the game may help. though before you do that you should ofc backup all content you want to keep (like screenshots, custom skins and missions or replays etc). also reinstalling the game on Steam requires some handwork since uninstalling the game from Steam will pretty much only remove the launcher and a few files while the vast majority of the game files will stay untouched.
so after uninstalling the game on Steam you need to go into the Steam game folder and delete the War Thunder folder manually so all the files are gone for good and can be redownloaded when you install the game on Steam again.
