M1128 is a great standoff engagements because it's excellent at taking advantage of hulldown positions thanks to its unmanned turret. The M900 round you unlock with it is the best 105 round you can get your hands on. Its primary cons are it's bloody huge and there's maps where it doesn't get around well thanks to being a wheeled vehicle. It's not great in brawling situations so it's best to snipe with it.
HSTV-L is just pure fun. While it can't frontally penetrate everything it runs into, it's very effective at quickly disabling the gun barrel, blowing off a track, then getting a side shot in as it charges the target you shot at. You're primarily going to be using it as a flanker and can hold its own in a sudden engagement. Unlike the M1128, this is not a sniping vehicle as it's played more like a close range glass cannon.
Don't see many HSTVLs though, which I guess speaks for itself. Maybe the stock grind is that painful.
It has nothing to do with the performance of the vehicle, it's the repair cost for a more niche playstyle. It's very good at what it does, but it has, or even more expensive, repair cost than all of the Abrams except the M1A2.
It goes into a line up that you just don't make SL with if you burn through the whole line up, which is already a problem with top tier matches.
Sounds like Gajin yeah. I think the HSTVL is 10.7. Instead of uptiering, I guess lets burn wallets.
Do you guys think I'm insane to still use the Bradley in top tier matches??? I do this because the ADATS is so HUGH and next to impossible to hide or conceal.
True that. The M3A3 ain't that bad, I think, but I can imagine ERA isn't having it.
M3A3 Bradley is still solid. Most of the lighter vehicles you'll run into get eaten up by its missiles and if you're against any of the other NATO block countries that don't APS, its Top Attack missile still works very well.
Frankly, I like to think of the M3A3 as the middile ground between the M1128 and the HSTV-L. It can stand off, just not as well as the M1128 and it can brawl a bit, just not as well as the HSTV-L.
M3A3 gives you versatility. The other two give you more specialized roles.
Thank you both!!!! You guys have given me great info and thank you for your time!!!!
