m1a1 AIM stock grind?

I only have this for top tier, so I'm trying to grind it in assault. Any tips? I can barely pen anything with the HEATFS, and I get killed a lot

aim for goofy shots you wouldn't expect, use the HE to your advantage avoid ERA tanks and head on attacks rush the APFSDS and stay close to allies.

Destroy barrels and tracks or engines for assists. Research the low tier APFSDS as soon as you can.

Well apfsds is tier 3.

Those toptier tanks needs money, wich are the golden eagles, get golden eagles to buy modules or otherwise your toptier tank is useless.
Grinding for free takes a lifetime and even for those who gonna spade toptiers for free, expect defeats, one after another and short time survivability per match.
I play 7 nations at 11.0 groundforces, all spaded with money otherwise you have no chance.
In the past we got a year or 2 that spading for free MBTS was achievable, not anymore, since things like reactive armour blocks were intrudeced and HEAFTS nerfed , its near impossible to unlock modules on toptiers also the RP each modules needs its insane, so money or lose or be useless mbt for your team.
I remember 1st time we got leopard2k added along with t64b and M1, good patch at beginning it was.
Leopard2k heafts were 650mm penetration and t64b hadnt at start era blocks kit protection.
So those were good days to spade toptiers by free, just an example.
Nowadays its buying parts with money or neverending suffer, i know hundreds of WT toptier players, we talked so much about this, and there is no other way around it, want to play toptier???
Be prepared to use money to buy parts.

And you go far with single top tier lool, these squadron mbts should be locked to players that have all toptier backups.

Aim for lower plate on Russian tanks, if you hit fuel and penetrate, you can cause a detonation (Easy kill).

Otherwise, side of hull, cannon barrel, tracks & engine, all ways to disable them, which allows you to rush (If close) then shoot them in the side until they die, or just spam shots until the ERA is gone and you're hitting the good stuff.

Play it over other tanks you have at a similar BR until you have Parts & FPE, after which I say play it with strong preference until you need SL because you're dying too much.
After which get the turret mods until you can get either the Laser Range Finder, or APFSDS.
(I personally recommend APFSDS over the LRF as a priority.)

for some top tier tanks i'd actually recommend grabbing the sabot before parts/fpe - thankfully, most ppl at top tier tend to have a basic awareness of their surroundings, so 'request help to repair' isnt just a joke button. for my t-72b3 i grabbed sabot, then thermals, THEN parts&fpe, and only after those did i grab laser ranging - sabot lets you fight better, same with thermals, and at top tier the HEAT-FS is just such a handicap that i'd consider it ALMOST useless. you can certainly work with it, but not ideal by any measure.

Well for the AIM Sabot is tier 3, so I have to get parts and fpe first.
