Permanent Premium?
A premium for 50/60 USD that would be permanent would be nice. maybe it has slightly less rewards, but it doesn't expire.

Probably isn't that good on a business point of view. They'd want repeats, not one time subscriptions.

A years worth of premium time is 80$

Sure it'd seem nice.
But that means instead of WT for the past 10 years every couple years a numbered iteration would come out that'd you'd need to pay a new $60 'subscription' for.

When a years premium goes on sale isn’t it around 40-60 bucks or something like that

No way, I'd much rather they didn't add multiple tier premium. I know that continuous subscription can be annoying on a psychological level, however 1) you can get 1 year premium fairly cheap and at a large discount (-50%) twice a year, 2) you could train yourself to worry less about getting it when you want it and letting it expire when you don't.

Multiple tier premium, though, is just plain sinister. It would only create a precedent and an incentive for them to add more tiers and push people into paying more.

Star Trek online has had one for around 200-300 bucks for years. Theirs is rather generous too with what it comes with (including a 500 Zen (about 5 USD) stipend.) Pretty generous one, but it's more of a leftover from the days of subscription only MMOs (STO was subscription only then.) Literally one that pays back over time.

A lifetime sub would be great, but don't be fooled into thinking it'd be cheaper than the STO one. It would be at least the same price.

I would be pretty keen on paying $30/mo if they'd fix at least 50% of outstanding bugs and stopped prioritizing premium tanks over gameplay. New maps, historical battles, dramatic BR decompression at least around the "edges" (7.7 can only face 7.3-7.7, 6.7 can only face 6.3-6.7, etc). A BR decompression of at least 0.30 would dramatically improve the fun you could have in the game.

I'm sure I'm not alone. It really is sad that Gaijin prefers the gacha model by driving out people with a lot of hours in the game for a new person who is more likely to use their credit card to advance. I've had premium for most of my career and I feel like I would lose almost nothing not renewing it this year (which I wont) because the rewards are so pathetic.

As a result of all this I've found myself becoming more and more toxic which deep down I hate. But it's entirely driven by the fact I have about 280 days of premium left over that I don't want to waste, but I really, really despise their business model and how much disrespect repeat customers get.

So you're example 7.7 and 6,7 will only get down tiered, so why would someone ever play 7.3 or 6.3 also what happens to 7.0 and 6.0?

That would mean losing potential profit, which Gaijin would never do.

I mean, isn't this a common thing? Nearly all companies have some sort of subscription based model, Prime, Netflix, Twitch, the list is indefinite.

Yep and all companys want todo a stady income. So i dont see a problem either! Stady Income = Updates, new vehicles, new Maps and so on...

Premium is already loosing value due to the constant nerfs to economy, this would make it almost worthless tbh because let's be honest, we all know how this would go:

1- Current rewards would be "updated" to close to 0 making the game literally not able to advance for free players, like, the 400k RP and over a million SL for a single vehicle would be the standard at like rank III-IV

2- This premium will give what current free playing gives

3- Premium premium (those 50-60€ but per month instead of one single payment) will give current premium rewards

that completely defeats the purpose of premium acc, its the yearly subscribtion to play the game and makes a ♥♥♥♥ load of money for them. also its not even bad if you realize that netflix, spotify etc etc use the same subscribtion to use the service, this is no different tho it does suck having to pay 40EUR to play the game yearly

The best way for them to make profit and appeal to the consumer is by lowering their prices.

I mean, would you have a lot of people buy cheap items or a small amount buy expensive items, which would bring more profit and bring more people in?
