But that means instead of WT for the past 10 years every couple years a numbered iteration would come out that'd you'd need to pay a new $60 'subscription' for.
Multiple tier premium, though, is just plain sinister. It would only create a precedent and an incentive for them to add more tiers and push people into paying more.
A lifetime sub would be great, but don't be fooled into thinking it'd be cheaper than the STO one. It would be at least the same price.
I would be pretty keen on paying $30/mo if they'd fix at least 50% of outstanding bugs and stopped prioritizing premium tanks over gameplay. New maps, historical battles, dramatic BR decompression at least around the "edges" (7.7 can only face 7.3-7.7, 6.7 can only face 6.3-6.7, etc). A BR decompression of at least 0.30 would dramatically improve the fun you could have in the game.
I'm sure I'm not alone. It really is sad that Gaijin prefers the gacha model by driving out people with a lot of hours in the game for a new person who is more likely to use their credit card to advance. I've had premium for most of my career and I feel like I would lose almost nothing not renewing it this year (which I wont) because the rewards are so pathetic.
As a result of all this I've found myself becoming more and more toxic which deep down I hate. But it's entirely driven by the fact I have about 280 days of premium left over that I don't want to waste, but I really, really despise their business model and how much disrespect repeat customers get.
I mean, isn't this a common thing? Nearly all companies have some sort of subscription based model, Prime, Netflix, Twitch, the list is indefinite.
1- Current rewards would be "updated" to close to 0 making the game literally not able to advance for free players, like, the 400k RP and over a million SL for a single vehicle would be the standard at like rank III-IV
2- This premium will give what current free playing gives
3- Premium premium (those 50-60€ but per month instead of one single payment) will give current premium rewards
I mean, would you have a lot of people buy cheap items or a small amount buy expensive items, which would bring more profit and bring more people in?
Savvy players wait for sales.
