but to be fair, I got my hands on PUMA in 4 days f2p (playing around 3 hours per day, I'm a student and there is quarantine so I guess I have the time)
The ingame economy(both RP/SL) seems based around needing a certain skill level to progress at a reasonable speed and to always have SL. Having premium etc can help that. Certain vehicles are a bit of a joke even with premium. But good luck to those that are below average in skill and F2P.
Get a years worth of premium when it goes for 50% off. Best investment you can make in the game and it won't break the bank.
Otherwise, stop focusing on getting to top tier and enjoy each tier for what it is.
These cheap premiums along with a premium account help you grind, and earn lions to pay for your new vehicles as you earn them.
I understand F2P for people too young to have a credit card but really players should try to give just a little support to keep things running. With zero income the game would have been gone long ago.
I liken it to a shyster tradesman. I had to deal with a few of these myself and they carry the same mentality as Gaijin.
Me: You've done that wrong.
Shyster: Well I'll need more money to fix it...
Me: You ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up in the first place...
Shyster: Yeah but you're paying for the labour now.
Me: You're fired, ♥♥♥♥ off.
This, and the daily complaint about airplanes in tank battles.
So very true.
"Wow, you didn't get it" aswell : if you have time & the patience, you don't have to buy anything.
So yes, it's a free to play.
And you happy or unhappy about how it is working will be irrelevant.
Now, I'm pretty ok with you about that : the progress is horrible slow & I'm not very happy about the mechanics of their economical choices.
But it remains a free to play.
But horrible.
Etc.
