Do you know where the earliest 400mm Heat-FS Shell is?
Because today I learned that you can face 400mm penetration Heat-FS shells from 3.7

Turns out in the spirit of Gajin screwing the Swedes over on tanks but giving them good ammo to compensate (none of the tanks can bounce a 50.cal from the front till four vehicles down the list, but they do have 100mm pen APDS from reserve even if it is just a 37mm shell), the IKV 103 at 4.7 has a 105mm cannon (like the early Leopards) that fires a HEAT-FS shell with 400/346/200mm of penetration (like the early Leopards).

Good news is that one also can't survive a 50.cal burst from any direction other than direct front.

400 mm penetration for HEAT? The earliest for that level of penetration is Ikv 103 like you have stated, there are no earlier examples. The next one after would be the Fiat 6614 with 433 mm of penetration at BR 6.3.

Swedes are a menace
That 1.0 APDS shell is FR FR crazy.

They also get a TD at 3.3 with 250mm HEAT pen.

And dont even get me started on their planes.
B18B with 700mm anti armor rockets

I BEG YOUR PARDON.

On the brightside atleast the velocity is horrible making it impractical to use.

Everyone who complains about this tank has clearly never played it.

It's a howitzer, not a cannon, and you definitely notice the difference. The shell velocity is a leisurely 510 m/s, nearly half that of it's contemporaries. Long range sniping and hitting moving targets is very difficult, which is very unfortunate, since it isn't good at close range combat either.

The armor is beyond paper thin, there's a giant hole in the armor that allows anyone with an MG to shoot the gunner and commander right in the face. The gun handling is very slow, making snap shots even more difficult. The reload is longer than just about every other gun at the tier, so you can't trade shots.

And to top it off, HEAT really isn't that good against WW2 vehicles. Especially the heavily armored German tanks that everyone always points to. The crews are so spread out that a oneshot is very difficult to guarantee with the narrow cone of damage from a HEAT shell. This is made worse since landing the round accurately on a tank is difficult to guarantee at range, let alone hitting a specific spot or ammo rack. And if you miss your spot by half a meter in any direction, it's possible to do no serious damage to them at all.

The only thing this tank is good at is using it's absurd 16 degrees of gun depression on a ridgeline where it can lob shots at tanks at relatively close range, before using it's responsive reverse gear to back out before it's spotted. Not many of these spots exist. Outside these positions, and especially on the ever present city maps, this thing is borderline useless.
