German Mig-19S Any Tips and tricks?

I just got the german mig 19. It's stock and i feel like I have no chance with it. Every match i played i was the only mig 19...if not the only plane with no rockets or any countermeasures...
Is it a bit obsolete or i just don't know how to play it? I mean, i'm just facing planes that can run at mach 2 with rockets . Is there a secret to this plane or is it just a waste of time in 1.97? Thanks in advance.

its not usless its just a bit hard to learn in the state of the game right now .
try to get some altitude go fly a little bit of the fight try to search you targets that are in a turn fight or somewhere alone not in a group the guns are awesome and you have one of the best accelarations of the game you will catch even a f4e when you bouth start around same speed
and its energy retention is awesome in my eyes :)

Thanks for the advice. My main target it is the mig 21. But I didn't want to think that I wasted all that time for a ♥♥♥♥ plane. I'll try your advice

I know what are you saying and it drives me insane when I think about it but I'm done with the Cl13,i want something else. I'll try to be the officer with a sword in WW1. But with a supersonic soviet sword... Used by Germans... Against homing bullets...

the think with rockets you can dodge them fairly easy in the mig 19 when a r60 or 20 g rocket comes your way just pull up hard and turn after burner auf for a second then put it back on and go straight after rocket flew by thx to the great acceleration of the mig 19 should have enough energy to awade upcoming straves and rockets

If you see the rocket or know that it is coming...They rushed rockets in the game and some times you know you are trageted by a rocket when it's too late or simply you know it's coming but it doesn't spawn....

G91, best aircraft I have ever flown, grinded the Mig 19 and Mig 21 in 3 days.

I had it researched but I never bought it because I thought it was weak. I feel like it,'s a bit slow but I never tried to play it. I'm talking about what I saw in battle and what I versed. When I played the CL13 I always went for the G91.
