Considering the 76mm hull gun is a Howitzer, I'm going to say there was never an APHE round used for it.

And if you mean the 40mm gun.... it never had APHE either.

Unless you find a document that says it had an APHE round, it will never happen.

Umm I don't think british tank designers even new what APHE was in WW2.. For reals almost all their tanks used solid shot. It was part of theri miltary doctoring to use solid shot for some reason, only way you would see APHE in brits is if it was a sherman with out their gun put on it...

I mean there was never even an APHE shell built for thier guns especially the 2lber and 3 inch howitzer...

/\ For the British, the small advantages APHE had did not outway the disadvantages that came with it to them, hence they stuck with using and producing solid shot AP rounds for almost everything.

There's a lengthy bugreport on the damage output on APHE shells ingame on the War Thunder official forums

Essentially, IRL APHE and AP shells produce nearly the same damage. What War Thunder's APHE does is each shell is a big ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ grenade going off inside the tank.

Allegedly, and you can find people claiming the tiger should have NOS and be harder to kill on the forum. Then people pointing out it should break down in game and be unrepairable etc.

Real life and video game don't mix well. And now the experts aka miltary advisors on payroll have to look over this and say yay or nay and fact check this stuff, and at same time it is still a VIDEO GAME, so gajin has liberties little things in order to make it more enjoyable, and APHE worked the same as AP in this game omg half the player base would rage quit on patch day lol

Agreed. If you look at the data for the APHE shells, most of them have a positively minute amount of explosive content. Certainly nowhere near enough to kill the entire crew of a tank.
