Boom and zoom in RB.
I just can't do it.

No matter how many times I try a plane that im about to boom and zoom as a P-51(Just the P51) they always turn. How am I suppose to boom and zoom when they know?

And if they do make me over shoot then i'll just zoom up right? Well when ever I do they or a teammate will randomly have the same speed going up. Like ok how do I Boom and zoom?

Someone please help I go to about 3000-4000 if I can i'll try for 5000.

But I can never get there .-.

Someone please help!

If playing Fighter is too troubling you could try playing as an attacker such as the IL-2, SBD-3, A-36, A-20, and IL-10!

But I want to get better at P-51 and P-47 soon.

Im just stuck one what to do. Its very hard to line myself up toward them so I can take the shot ;-;

Also hitting people it hard for me because I can't eyeball there speed most of the time ;-;

Yeah turn fighting against a plane that can already be semi great at turn fighting and great and boom and zooms or really anything that is involved with energy.

Im ok. Already tried it to see how it would work. Lets just say it didn't turn out that well.

Something that a lot of people starting out on BnZ tactics miss is that there is such a thing as going too fast.

When you're engaging an enemy, try to keep below 600km/h. Anything above that and you're going to have trouble keeping your plane manuverable enough to turn with an enemy. US fighters are unique in that they excell at high energy dogfights. For a few seconds, nothing can out manuver a US plane if it has just the right amout of energy.

Finding this balance takes time and most of all, patience. You are not going to be an ace at BnZ over night. Some folks make it look easy because they've put a lot of time into making it easy. You'll probably get frustrated here and there. Take breaks. Learn from your mistakes. Keep at it and before you know it, you'll be leaving trails of flames as your enemies plummet to the Earth below as you pull away, looking for the next target to send back to hangar.

Ok so last night I did somewhat good helping a teammate who had two BF-109's on his tail. Most of the were doing high yoyos because my teammate was going really slow.

So I went over to one of them killed them, then pulled out.

I hit the other planes flap but didn't kill him. My teammate who was getting killed came back and killed him.

It was such a great feeling.

this is what i do with my f84; find the 262 or yak 23 when im above him, dive a bit, wait for a turn into me, then go in and pummel em. only for 262s and 23s. every thing else i head on

Energy trap, if they get onto your tail, begin an upwards corkscrew. If you have enough energy stored up, and have more than them (and of course, if they decide to follow you into it), then they will bleed all of their energy and stall.

If I was a F-51, I would climb to 21,000 ft and pick my pray, but there are more veteran players in tier 4 then in tier 5 so I can see where you have the problem
