Squadron Vehicles

should I get a squadron vehicle for a nation I have no progress in or for a nation that I have almost completed?

What do you want in a squadron vehicle ?

I would go for vehicles that would best fit what lineups you have available first then go for the odd one-off vehicles.

Since Squadron vehicles aren't premium vehicles, it doesn't really do any good for you to get one that you don't have much tree progress for.

Btw, what is really a Squadron Vehicule?
I mean : I know what differences are between Free stuff & Premium stuff. But I lack knowledges about the "position" of Squadron Vehicules.

Can you (or someone else) highlight me?

join a sqn and play the game, nothing more.

lots of sqns because of this have been made just for this, no requirements, no chatting needed, don't need to play as a sqn.

the more people PLAYING the game, the more points the sqn gets and the more points you get.

The one I am currently in has died off a bit, I got around 8-9k sqn points every 3 days.
Last xmas I was getting 20k or more.

all depends on how many in your sqn are playing.

current new one is a russian su-22m3, I'm not a flyer so no idea how good this is.
You can still get any of the old ones.
usa m901 rockets and thermals at br 8
germany leo 2PL, it's a leo, nothing more need be said.
russian bmp 2m, br 8.7 and with thermals, russians need more thermals.

there are ships and other planes but I don't use them.

They're vehicles that are good introductions or lineup fillers, no one brags about them either, they're just so you Can have extra vehicles. They Can Also be cool to start out trees with

They're not worthless. The BMP-2M is probably one of the most OP vehicles in the game, the Leopard 2PL is one of the best top tier tanks, the A-4E Early is a great CAS plane, the YAH-64 is basically a 50€ helicopter you get for free.

It's not even a grind to get them, you just have to be in an active squadron and then you accumulate squadron research points with no real effort other than just playing normally. It does take a little while to get a squadron vehicle but that's just because there's a cap on how much research your squadron can get that resets every 3 days and you reach that cap quite fast.

The idea is to encourage players to be in squadrons. They are certainly not anything to brag about either considering how easy they are to get (you passively get the xp as you play the game).

Worthless pieces of machinery? Some are, but the majority are actually really good and worth getting.

Yes, some squadron veicules are pretty good, get them and put a talisma on them, with backups from warbonds good to grind.
Leopard2pl is awsome machine, BMP2 etc...

Get it for a vehicle you wanna play, but you're not gonna be without a lineup for. They're not like premium vehicles that you can research the tree with. They're pretty much tree vehicles that take months to grind. You can 100% play them without a backup vehicle, but you're gonna be 1DLing a lot, and people generally will hate that

If he gets a solo squadron a talisman wont do any good. Its no premium vehicle that can grind from tier 1 upwards.

To OP: Get one you can use in your lineup. You most likely will have the most use that way.
