My god is it annoying. We spend so much time grinding out jets to finally get a good top tier jet and now gaijin goes and essentially gives out ♥♥♥♥ simple mig 23 mfs to everyone and their cousins. Why the ♥♥♥♥ did you even give us a good jet just to give a mirror copy to another nation for less than a quarter the effort. You wanna talk about mld spam every damn person has a mig 23 mf now and even a lv 5 could just buy his way to get a top tier fighter jet. Makes sense good job money hoarding company. They’re really starting to piss people off with their stupid ass idea and lack of giving a ♥♥♥♥ about anything.

Lot of folks were pretty mad that it got the AIM-9J, which Germany didn't employ. Should've just had its AIM-9Es, reduce it to 10.0, and it would be a decent bully like the F-4C is at 10.0.

The tasks are insanely easy. Doing some simple tasks instead of grinding out 300 000+ rp and the sl and the modifications and the vehicles before it is much harder than completing some simple tasks. And its an insane short cut all the way to top tier jets. You cant even buy the amount of ge it takes to get the mig 23 mld for 50 dollars not even close.

As for OP, its an event vehicle, use those new players to farm SL and RP for your mods on that shiny new jet and if you happen to run into someone who actually knows how to play a top tier jet (likely because they ground out top tier russia or something) then try to avoid them and let a more experienced pilot on your team with a spaded jet deal with them. Also the Mig 23 ML has the MLD's missiles I think the R60 or something is the top missile in their modification tree so the MF will be slightly obsolete once the tech tree ML version is added.

And this upsets you because reasons that only you care about.

Objectively speaking, they would severely hamper their potential to grind out the German air tree with this aircraft since it's a non-premium Rank VII if they wanted any other aircraft besides the MiG-23MF, which Gaijin has confirmed Germany will receive an MLD version, which is better in every way.

So you'll still have earned your better version of the aircraft when it becomes available. And they'll still have to grind out the tree to get access to it. Assuming they have no progress in the German air tree.

What exactly is your issue then some weird conceived notion that folks are getting "handouts" without the effort? Because at the end of the day, they still have to go through the exact same grind to get access to the stuff in the German air tree while also suffering stock grind before they can fully appreciate the MiG-23MF.

Most countries in Europe don't even produce domestically designed aircraft anymore, those that do are rare exceptions as joint programs are cheaper. In the end that's how you end UP that is décent as everything but good in nothing because no one could agréé, this is litterally why France pulled out of the Eurofighter program and went on to design the rafale, litterally the best fighter jet in Europe and only omnirole fighter in service AT the moment. Go complain to Angela Merkel that you want more diversity in War thunder so she Can start UP a jet program

they didnt give it out, you had to grind harder than anyone normally would for like 20 days just to get the mig23mf, it takes way more effort to get a mig23mf than it does to get a mig23mld! i would know since i got one, im just waiting to sell it on the market place and then ill buy a f5c so i can finally get the overpowered f4c

First: I dont know if you havent noticed yet but nations are already pointless and no longer unique in the game. This isnt reality its a game kid.

Maybe you should open your eyes and realize that this company can only keep running WITH MONEY, its how YOU and your F2P ass can keep playing this game, thanks to people that PAY GAIJIN MONEY so GAIJIN CAN KEEP UP SERVICES so YOU CAN PLAY.

Obviously there is a ton of stuff to pay in this game to get an "advantage" and require less time to get to Top Tier, without that Gaijin would run out of money and you wouldnt be able to play it anymore.

Be next level mad if you want to, but realise that several nations used the Mig-23, just like other nations used Phantoms as well and so on. The Mig-23 will never remain solely to Russia

This is normal, between the stock suffering (MiG-23s are rough in stock shape, as it's their radar weapons that's a big asset these days), and people not used to jets all of a sudden being slingshotted to against planes that have been spaded, it will be tough for top tier Germany.

My advice is, if this is too much of an issue is to get out of its BR bracket for a bit. At least a week or two, where the jet newbies will go away, and the more experienced players finally got their MiG upgraded.
