You can buy it on the market, it's currently selling for around $95, but you can't gift it.

Your only options are to consume it (bind to your account) or resell it, you could resell it at a lower price for your friend to buy it, but it has to be the top offer, which is currently $75, so that's not really gonna work neither.

That works, but the Gaijin market works in a weird way. In order to buy the market currency, you need to spend half that amount on other in-game purchases. For example, if you wanted to spend 90 dollars, you would first have to buy 45 dollars worth of golden eagles. Then you would be able to spend 90 dollars on the market. Don't make the same mistake I did, keep that in mind before you pull the trigger.

Price isn't really an issue, i'm kinda confused about the whole gaijin coin thing though?

There is no way for you to gift it to your friend whatsoever, unless you just give him/her the money to buy it and have them buy it, that'd be the only way.

EDIT: I think Steam cards would work yeah.

Have they made any purchases before? I'm not sure how it works if you've never spent a dime, there might be a specific limit, I honestly don't know, it's a weird system.

Yeah... Wait until I tell you that there are vehicles 'sold out' on the marketplace store that have sold for $2,000.

A lot of it is.... I wouldn't deem it 'funny-money', but arbitrage gains. I think I've put like $20-30 into the market, currently holding a couple hundred bucks worth of stuff?

While I believe Illusionyary is right about not being able to 'gift' things, I might try logging into the gaijin market "through steam" and not trying to purchase things with steam gift cards or whatever. When you go to the marketplace login, there are the two main fields and a login button, below that are 3 more small buttons, one is log in with steam.

I'm not entirely sure what all the options are after that- my account predates WT being available on Steam.
