Reporting Procedure
If you have been banned or devoiced, either in-game, on the Steam Community Hub, or on the Official War Thunder Forums, this thread will direct you how to get more information or appeal as is needed. Please keep in mind that any threads created on War Thunder forums regarding a ban or devoice may be locked or hidden, hence it is crucial to follow the correct procedure in order to maximise the efficiency of your claim.

Forums
Action may be taken against users that are in breach of the War Thunder Steam Community Hub Forum Rules. If you have been banned from the Steam Community Hub, and you believe there has been a mistake, or that your punishment is unjust, then you are able to contact one of the Steam forum moderators. You can do this by either adding them as a friend on steam and them sending them a message, or by sending them a PM on their Official War Thunder Forum account. Both are linked towards the bottom of this thread.

If you discuss it with them and are unable to come to an understanding, then you may escalate the appeal to an Admin. The specific Admin to contact is below and should be contacted in the same way a Steam Moderator is. Admin decisions are final and cannot be appealed further.

If you have had action taken against you in the Official War Thunder Forums, as opposed to the Steam Hub, then you can send a PM to a Forum Moderator from this list here[forum.warthunder.com]. You can escalate to a Senior if you cannot come to an understanding.

In-game
There are 4 different types of ban in War Thunder:
  • Chat Ban - A ban from being able to chat in-game
  • Teamkill ban - A temporary ban from the game client due to team-killing
  • Account Ban - A ban from the game for a set period of time due to excessive breaches of the TOS
  • Frozen Account - A ban issued by support where it has been proven that you have breached the TOS.
Chat and account bans are issued by Game Masters as part of their duties. Should you believe these to be unjust for any reason, your first point of call is to head on over to the Official War Thunder Forums and contact a Game Master directly via Private Message. The contact of a Game Master has also been linked towards the bottom of this thread for your convenience. If you are unable to reach an understanding, you can escalate to a Senior Game Master as required. The full list of Game Masters can be found here[forum.warthunder.com] and are contactable through the Official War Thunder Forums.

An account that has been frozen can only be dealt with via Gaijin Support. Here is a link to the Support[support.gaijin.net]. Be sure to login there and create a ticket as required.
