Ryzen
I think you could constant support and tell them about it, I think they could always optimise particle effects some more
Yes, Gaijin is slowly fixing it, but my 3060 is overheating in this game. It doesent do that in Cyberpunk btw and I am not even running it on full graphics.
1. if it is a server problem - why doesn't everybody face fps issues ?!
and why do those that do have fps issues experience them in test flights / drives and
benchmarks (that do run locally on the PC only) as well ?
2. how come that me running a GTX660 2gb - core i3 system having no issues keeping
60fps (vsync) in air battles and 50-60 fps (with dips down to 45 fps occasionally) in
ground battles ?
3. how is it a games fault that a gpu overheats when it is running at 100% usage ?
yes, there are a lot of issues and bugs in WT and yes, Gaijin should optimize certain (or a lot of) things in the game but c'mon a 1650Ti running the game at 10-20 fps ?!
you can't just say - don't worry it's not your system but the servers or graphics optimizations.
there are not enough information to say 'stop looking on your system and wait for Gaijin to fix it' ><
Are you using a laptop? If so, open your Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Global Settings > Drop down under Preferred Graphics processors > select High Performance Graphics Processor > Save settings then launch War Thunder. If this does not resolve the problem, uninstall/reinstall your GPU drivers. If that doesn't solve the problem, make a Support Ticket on Gaijin's website.
If you're not using a laptop, then you should be seeing 0% usage for your Intel UHD Graphics while playing War Thunder and in that case, it sounds like your computer is switching to integrated graphics instead of your dedicated graphics for some reason. Have you uninstalled and reisntalled your GPU drivers? If not, do that. If that doesn't resolve the problem, make a Support Ticket on Gaijin's website.

You need to be logged into your account connected to War Thunder to see the Support Ticket options.
Don't forget to mention the brilliant replies missing the UHD Graphics usage over the Nvidia GPU usage.
the fps have been all over the place recently, yes with yours set to vsync which is what I had on my old nvida 660 had no problems running at 60 with a lot of the graphics turned down.
the thing is 6 months ago I started running this game on a new system, nvida 3070 and getting 400+ fps, I came back the other week and i was lucky to get over 200.
2 updates later I'm now running around 290 to 300.
so yes, you with vsynic on are not seeing a problem, you not seeing it does not mean things are a little off.
You looking the other way and not at a problem does not prove you are right and everyone else is wrong.
Now for me fps are not a problem, they are just changing from week to week.
so what every gaijin is doing, it is getting better at least for me.
And if you open your eyes you will see this is not the only thread that talks about fps,
it is just that at the moment it is not a problem (i'd guess) for most,
it is just happening.
your "i don't have a problem" attitude does not help anyone and is not a good advert for gaijin.
you offered no help on what to do, no links to where to report bugs, NOTHING.
but thanks for your input and help.
i await your sarcastic reply.
edit.
I have noticed after today I'm now running fps back at 360+
now I'm aren't I the lucky one.
Seriously...
Almost no info was exchanged, we stumbled upon the answer by surprise, nobody noticed, snailhunt ensues.
Gaijin messes up plenty, but this one definitely sounds like it's on the user end. I'm curious how OP is using their GPU and iGPU at the same time. Don't most systems only allow one at a time? I have a setting in the BIOS for that, but it's off by default.
@OP Update?
