Why did I pay 70$ for the A10 when I could have got the better A10 for free by using my lions? Seems that I should have got some kind of a benefit for paying 70$ up front for that plane. Also why is one called "early" and one called "late" if they came out the same time?I thought I would get it earlier than the rest of the players. I guess I am stupid or at least I feel that way for wasting 70$ on the lesser plane with an ugly paint job.

The "benefit" is that you now have a top tier premium, congratulations. Personally wouldnt have spent $70 on it, but thats just me.

honestly owning the at10 late the prem is kinda better due to the agm65b it has better zoom than the agm65d on the a10 late but i guess the thermal you get is the trade off

I believe the 'early' is the prototype YA-10A variant and the late is the production one A-10A.

Aside from skipping the grind to unlock and pay for it, the premium plane comes with double SL and RP rewards, and can be used to efficiently research lower tiers (which may or may not matter for you). That's the standard premium benefit.

Early and late refers to variants of the aircraft, not to when players get them. There are examples of this pattern elsewhere in the tech tree.

Everyone knew there was going to be a tech tree version. If you didn't have that information, maybe you shouldn't make online purchases because really that's quite an effort to miss.

A-10A early vs A-10A late has to do with their builds, the early represents early production A-10 with fewer weapons to use. They do this often with their premiums where with the better version in the tech tree, what you get with the prem. vehicle is premium time, golden eagles, cheap repair with 30 free repairs, and big RP and silver lion bonus for your matches. Basically you should only buy a prem. vehicle if you want to use it to grind a tech tree, they might have a refund process.

Nope, both are production A-10As, but as the name implies, the premium is an early model. There are a few visual diffrences between it and the YA-10

Don't think of it as wasting the money, think of it as funding F2P player's like me with free A10 kills.
