So sick of stacked teams.
One sided match after one sided match. Whether I win or lose it's a massacre for the losing team.

Can we get some kind of matchmaking please? Whether it's activity based, skill based, stat based, how sweaty your balls get during matches. I don't care what it is, just PLEASE sort something out.

Weirdly I seem to have been having more of those great games that go right down to the wire recently.

But the stomps still happen, and I know it will get people up in arms, but the vast majority of the time it's when a team has 4-5 one death (or even immediately after spawning) leavers.

Not sure how that problem could ever be fixed but a skill based MM might help make evenly sided games fairer...although you'd still likely have issues where a good player drags up his new player mates and they get wrecked?

Yes

9/10 matches end because 1 whole team leave.
And 1/10 match is 2 point map when both team camp till time up.

I don't know why players keep playing this game while leaving the match with world record.
Many players leave when they know that they're uptiered. While I pick right line-up and can beat the game easily. And it seem like these stupid things will continue because even in steam community, Gaijin don't have any dev to get report.

I just don't see the point in playing the game any more if it's just going to be steam rollers. There is no fun in massacre after massacre after massacre.

Agree for once. Kept track of my last 5 matches and placed 1st in three of them and top two in the remainder. Top score all around in two of the battles but still lost all five battles. One battle went down to the wire while four were landslides for opponents.

Thing is, you’re assuming that a matchmaking system would help. One of the reasons the game snowballs is because each time a player gets a kill, there’s one less player on the opposing team to fight back. So the likelihood of the team with the first kill getting the next kill increases. If one team loses four players before the other loses even one, the game steamrolls out of control. The first players to die aren’t necessarily bad layers either. That’s just the nature of games like this. Well balanced games are not easy to force.

That's the vicious cycle, and it's very hard for multiplayer devs to stop it. In DOTA's they use distance from spawns and exponential leveling to try and stop it, while having an intricate skill based match making. In FPS's they used explosive weapons and shotguns to try and negate skill.

In War Thunder, they don't implement any of that because the vicious cycle is how they try to implement skill based match making. Good players stay in the match longer, bad players return to the queue. I disagree with this design decision.

The developers have a bad case of survivorship bias causing them to think that high tier play is where the money is.

I don't see why the enemy team> is the aggressive team so often...well over 75% of the time

I seem to always be on the team that hides on map corners & in the rear.

Other weird thing is completing the daily objectives-example>I get multi strike often-so today i played a ton of matches trying to complete multi strike on daily/never came close.(though i had a few great battles ...maybe 10-15% of them were a lot of fun)

Well , f it-I am back to 1-3 matches a day at most for fun only/no more objectives. Not wasting time with this weird matchmaking mechanic

I surprise myself if I can stomach more than four matches in one sitting.

You always have to be the superior don't you?

Seriously do you need to satisfy your fragile ego that much, reminding everyone every time how much "superior" you are?

Sounds more like you are the one that getting steam rolled 9 of 10 matches otherwise you wouldn't complain lol. No offense though.
BocheBuster Feb 3, 2022 @ 12:20am
Same here dude. Rarely having a fun game anymore, so playing less and less.
Suthirak_D42 Feb 3, 2022 @ 12:37am
I remember old day when both team rush same point and crash each other tanks. No running back, just shoot the intruders.

But these day, "Oh sht, It's uptiered, we J out", "Enemy has better player, let J out in first spawn".
