But the stomps still happen, and I know it will get people up in arms, but the vast majority of the time it's when a team has 4-5 one death (or even immediately after spawning) leavers.
Not sure how that problem could ever be fixed but a skill based MM might help make evenly sided games fairer...although you'd still likely have issues where a good player drags up his new player mates and they get wrecked?
9/10 matches end because 1 whole team leave.
And 1/10 match is 2 point map when both team camp till time up.
I don't know why players keep playing this game while leaving the match with world record.
Many players leave when they know that they're uptiered. While I pick right line-up and can beat the game easily. And it seem like these stupid things will continue because even in steam community, Gaijin don't have any dev to get report.
That's the vicious cycle, and it's very hard for multiplayer devs to stop it. In DOTA's they use distance from spawns and exponential leveling to try and stop it, while having an intricate skill based match making. In FPS's they used explosive weapons and shotguns to try and negate skill.
In War Thunder, they don't implement any of that because the vicious cycle is how they try to implement skill based match making. Good players stay in the match longer, bad players return to the queue. I disagree with this design decision.
The developers have a bad case of survivorship bias causing them to think that high tier play is where the money is.
I seem to always be on the team that hides on map corners & in the rear.
Other weird thing is completing the daily objectives-example>I get multi strike often-so today i played a ton of matches trying to complete multi strike on daily/never came close.(though i had a few great battles ...maybe 10-15% of them were a lot of fun)
Well , f it-I am back to 1-3 matches a day at most for fun only/no more objectives. Not wasting time with this weird matchmaking mechanic
I surprise myself if I can stomach more than four matches in one sitting.
Seriously do you need to satisfy your fragile ego that much, reminding everyone every time how much "superior" you are?
But these day, "Oh sht, It's uptiered, we J out", "Enemy has better player, let J out in first spawn".
Yawn.........Oh,.... you again. Tips on how to succeed in WT are readily available. Perhaps you could make use of them.
